Trouble loading Windows Drivers into Ubuntu Fri Mar 11, 2011 10:36:14 AM#150282Perm Link
The auto-run feature is not working when I try and install my drivers for my new camera. Ubuntu sees the CD but neither Archive Manager or Document Viewer can open files or folders on the disk. I am trying to learn Shotwell but it is not as simple or maybe I'm complicating the instructions from their web-site. I would like to install the Olympus Drivers and program though. Are there any App's or work-around's for this??

Thx Aron; yea I got some good advise why not to trouble with Wine via Launch pad; so I dwnlded and installed "digiKam" via Ubuntu. Looks like a lot more options and features than shotwell but is only supported through April 2012 at this time. Thanks again, I misspoke I should have said the software that came with the camera.
