Ase Labs Photo Caption Contest Week# 1 Fri Feb 17, 2006 8:04:17 PM#14970Perm Link
This is a little idea I cooked up (a.k.a. stole from somewhere else). The way it works is this: I start the competition off by posting a funny picture. You people, as members, have to caption it. You have one week to enter. At the end of the week, I will put all of the captions into a poll, where you, the members, will vote on it. Then, the winner of the poll will select the next weeks pic (use proper judgement, and please, no "pwned" pics). The picture can be from anything: a game, a movie, real life, the news, a poorly modified car etc.
So, without further ado:
*No crude/vulgar images or captions
*No obstensibly large images (though I can resize them for you).
*Send your choice of image via PM to me if you are a chosen winner.
*Try to use JPEG images if you use Imageshack.
*No images with captions already on them (ie. pwnage images. Though if you want to edit the image yourself as an entry, feel free).
*Post your caption using quote tags so I know where it starts and ends.
*Save Aron some money. Try to run your image through Imageshack or some similar service . That way it saves Aron bandwidth and makes it easier to send to me. Week #1 Picture:
Have fun!

Michael: Jodie, how's my schedule look for today? Jodie: You've got a conference and dinner party at the Japanese Embassy regarding wildlife protection. Michael: Oh, yeah...sorry, but I'll have to cancel that. I'm heading out to save America!
"The first annual Dance-Off of Minnesota was cancelled when contestant # 5 exploded due to 'Jackson-envy', leaving said big friggin' whole in the wall."
Keep it up people, I'll put the poll up on Saturday.
