Help with Windows Media Player and video files

A little while back I started getting washed out yellow or blue video coming out of everything that I played in Media Player 10. Quicktime still looks fine, and other image files display correctly. I tried reinstalling my display drivers and Media Player. Anyone else experienced this or have any idea what the cause could be? I saw the same problem posted on another forum with no response.

Nope, The wmv, avi, mpeg, and other files have the same problem with other video players as well. .Mov files seem to be unaffected, but all the other files appear grainy, washed out, and blue or yellow. I can burn them to VCD and they look fine on my DVD player. This is weird.

Thanks for the help. I looked at the Microsoft Winows media player forums, and it was a problem with my display overlay from the last windows update. Apparently not an uncommon problem. F***ing Microsoft
