ok this girl sarah, her mom died and her dad remarried.
the stepmom has a kid with the father.

a baby boy named toby.

one day she's sick of it all and says the magicwords " i wish the goblins would come and take you away. right now".

the crying stops when she walks out of his room, she goes to inspect it only to find her brother missing from his cott.

the goblins have taken him, and the goblin king jareth approaches her telling her she has 12 hours ( i think because later it becomes 9hours and 23mins *is a geek* ) in which to get him back from the goblin castle.

however jareth, having fallen in love with her wishes to keep the boy and turn him into a goblin ( in the manga " labyrinth returns" he wants to make toby his successor ) and have sarah forgett everything so she can be his queen.

however sarah makes her way through various mazes and puzzles set out by jareth.

with help from her friends, hoggle ( a dwarf/hobgoblin i think he is) , ludo (......dog,yeti thing :/ ) and a dog/squirrell/knight called sir dydamus.

she makes her way to the goblin castle and ends up destroying jareth ( she says words and he sort of shatters) and gets toby back.

she thinks it's all a dream but her friends appear once more and they have a party o3o

may not sound good but it's amazing, and you have to look at every little detail to appreciate it.
i discover something new each time i watch it <3
