(Welp. Here is the fanfic for The Anomaly! Here is stuff to begin. . . and then I shall post the stuff for the character. PS. she is no longer superhuman. . . now she's sorta like a Batman I suppose.)
Name: Benevolence “Bennie” Wars (her real name is Fernanda Muñoz)
Superhero name: The Anomaly
Age: 18
Gender: Female
Height: 5’07”
Weight: N/A (but it’s muscle!)
Appearance:
Superhero appearance:
Personality: A jokester and a loud mouth, Bennie has a sense of humor that some people just don’t understand. She’s independent and strong, someone who finds looking up to others as pointless when one should always look up to themselves. . . because we are the ones who make the decisions to either become great or not. And Bennie plans on one day being known around the world, whether it be as The Anomaly or not. Due to her past, Bennie does have a bit of a darker side to her, as well as a constant sense of pain. But, she is capable of easily masking this with her famous grin and a wholehearted laugh. She has morals that would drive some people insane, especially when she goes on to start rambling about them. But these are the morals that she has kept with her for years, and refuses to let go. And these are the morals that play into her being such a great hero. As well as her indomitable will. Highly intelligent, Bennie is in constant thought, unless meditating that is. With an IQ greater than the top minds of the world, Bennie doesn’t always use it. Some actually see her as sort of a hardheaded idiot – especially when she gets to the point of mistaking Wolverine as Iron Man (this WILL happen!). When it comes down to it, Bennie is fun-loving and supportive, always standing up for both herself and others. She is weird and also a bit wild, but in a sort of good way. Altogether, her personality is one that attracts people of all kinds, and can quickly get her friends.
Side: Hero! Though she’s sort of “do things by my own book” kinda hero.
In a group?: Nope. She works alone.
Powers/Abilities: At the peak of human physical (almost to the point with mental, but she IS a teenager, so cut her some slack) capacity, Bennie is capable of performing feats that most couldn’t even imagine. Although she has no superhuman powers, Bennie’s unstoppable determination and strength of will make her an extremely formidable opponent. This makes her able to function while tolerating massive amounts of physical pain, and also allows her to resist telepathy or mind control. Bennie is adept in interrogation techniques; mostly once that instill fear – such as playing the Knife Game on someone. Bennie’s physical attributes exceed that of any Olympic level athlete that has ever competed. Strength, speed, stamina, agility, reflexes and coordination are at peak human perfection. Bennie began her physical and mental conditioning when she was very young (with the whole needing to survive thing) and then intense physical training and weight lifting at age 12. She mastered full body control by the time she was 17. Since the age of 15, Bennie has created a strict diet to enable her body to develop and operate at its most proficient. Bennie has performed amazing physical feats due to her superior physique. She engaged in an intensive regular regimen of rigorous exercise (including aerobics, weight lifting, gymnastics, and simulated combat) to keep herself in peak condition, and has often defeated opponents whose size, strength, or other powers greatly exceeded her own (an example being The Hulk). She has spent her entire life in pursuit of physical perfection and has attained it through constant intensive training. But mostly through determination. Bennie is also a weapons master, as well as having been trained in several forms of martial arts (she has a tendency to mix a bunch together, or just goes freestyle!), and is also a master in the art of stealth.
Weapon/s: What you see in the pictures; she also has other gadgets and weapons that she uses. (Kinda think of her as a Batman of sorts. . . but not really)
History: Harassed and beaten inside and outside of her home, Bennie had become mute for a long period of time. At the age of five, she was abandoned on the streets of Bogota, Columbia (one of the most violent cities in the world) by her parents who could no longer afford to care for her (though they hadn’t been doing that before); with Bennie was nothing but the rags on her back. And she quickly became a thief to survive. A very intelligent child, Bennie knew how to deal with most situations. She resorted to whatever it took in order to keep living. And sometimes, she wasn’t proud of the things she had to do. Seeing the world as Survival of the Fittest, Bennie didn’t give herself any resting time. And she trained. And trained. And trained for years. And in her mind, she had to keep moving if he wanted to live. So, Bennie started to travel across the world on foot (though every now and then she’d hitch a ride on a train or something). The world was cruel, and no one could be trusted. And at the age of 9, Bennie found herself in a prison camp in North Korea, after having been caught passing the border as a trespasser. She saw how cruel people truly could be here, and grew to detest everyone. . . except for two other kids who she became friends with. They would look after Bennie, providing her with food – and it had been the only way she would ever receive food. She was thankful for them, and started to see that not everyone in the world was “evil”. But, when a guard caught the two children with Bennie (who was being kept for interrogations and work – as she was starting to show some of her powers with the enhanced strength), they beat them. To death. And right in front of Bennie. Once more, she was alone. And on her 11th birthday, two of the prison keepers ended up planning an escape. And they took Bennie with them. After the escape, Bennie went on her own, wanting to keep traveling. To see more of the world. . . hoping that she could at least find a sliver of light. Hoping she could find more who were like those two kids. Like the guards who had helped her break free from the prison. Bennie made herself at home in Europe for several years before making her way to America. . . where she ended up in Fairview at the age of 16. And here is where the creation of The Anomaly was. And here is where Bennie decided she would become a guardian.
Extra: Bennie has made a lot of friends in the two years she has lived in Fairview, and can be considered one of the “populars” – though it isn’t really a title she likes.
I stare absentmindedly up at the ceiling fan, my gaze following its rotating motions, watching as the same white blade comes back into view before moving on again. The breeze that is created shifts my black hair slightly to the side, several onyx strands playing across my face. Without looking in a mirror, I knew that I was a mess. From the oversized shirt that reads in oozing letters “Love Bites”, to the pair of loose Beavis and Butthead boxers. Yes. These really are MY pajamas. I’m not one of those girls who find sleeping in some skimpy lingerie as comfortable. Not at all. Then again, I’m not like most girls to begin with. Or people for that matter. . . definitely not.
Blinking once, I turn my head to check the time. 7:20 flash in red on the alarm clock just as the annoying sound rings out. I had pressed the snooze button four times up to this pint. And this time, I decide it’s time to get up and ready for school. I can’t risk being late. . . again. Sitting up on my queen-sized bed and shoving the plush comforter aside, I then swing my long legs over the side. The cold air of my bedroom attacks my once heated skin, causing goose bumps. My toes touch the wooden floor first, and then I step away from the bed. As I get up, I bring the comforter with me and wrap myself in it. Content with being warm again, I trail into the kitchen, looking like some giant, orange and turquoise striped, mobile cocoon.
Popping one arm out of my cocoon, I open a cupboard and find exactly what I want. I reach up and snatch the box of Frosted Flakes off the shelf and onto the nearby two-seat table. Sitting down at one of the oak chairs, the comforter creates an audible puffing noise. Comfortable and hungry, I eat straight out of the box, my hand quickly moving from box to mouth. The entire time, I keep my eye on the clock. But my attention soon drifts to the window, and for what seems like an eternity, I watch the singing birds.
“They’re so cute.” I say, the words muffled due to my mouth being full.
I then catch a glimpse at the clock, and feel my eyes widen. 7:46. School starts at 8:10. School is ten minutes away. There was no way I would make it. I hadn’t even showered yet. And I really couldn’t afford being late! I was already late three times this week. And it’s Thursday!
“Relax Bennie! Just relax! You’re just going to have to use your speed! You’ve got this!” I firmly tell myself, getting to my feet. Throwing the comforter on the ground, I storm my way into the bathroom.
There was no way I would be late.
[At School]
“Benevolence Wars. You’ve been late every day this week. I would like to talk to you after class today, please. But for now, just go take a seat so we continue with the lesson. . .” Mr. Stanton, my first class teacher for English, says to me. His tone wasn’t as scolding as it should have been. If anything, it was more disappointment. But that hurt even more. I’m the top student in his class, so I can understand where the disappointment is coming from.
“I’m sorry Mr. Stanton,” I mutter a sincere apology, my head bowed as I trudge over to my seat. He looks at me for a second longer, and then returns to what he had been saying before I burst into the room. Which is about Alexandre Dumas’ novel The Count of Monte Cristo – which we have been reading for the past two weeks. We’re only supposed to be halfway through, but I had finished only hours after we received the books.
And I could already tell this would be a long day.
Name: Christian Winters
Superhero/villain name: Wraith
Age: 19
Gender: male
Height: 6’1
Weight: 172 lbs
Appearance:
Superhero/villain appearance:
Personality: Intelligent, Calm, Cool
Side: Villian
In a group?: Yes part of the villain group Purgatory who’s member powers have aspects of life and death.
Powers/Abilities: Christian’s powers represent the after-life, which is why he is called Wraith. He can become intangible at will go through walls and fly (But not at supersonic speeds). He can enter the minds of others and has a mental link with the other members of Purgatory. (They appear like they do in that group photo in each other’s minds) and they don’t know each other’s real identities as they all follow orders that are telepathically given to them.
When he enters someone’s mind he can access anything they know but it takes a while to learn information that they are guarded against. They have mental blocks but Christian can get pass these blocks with some strain to himself.
He can heal minor wounds by going into a ghost-like state if he is badly damaged then he has to remain between life and death until his body heals.
Christian can walk on walls, similar to spiderman but it’s not a biological cling to the surface it’s because he can alter his personal gravitational field.
While he doesn’t have superhuman strength he does have enhanced strength as he is capable of utilizing his body’s full potential, so he has greater speed and stamina then a normal person. Utilizing their body’s full potential is the one power that all members of Purgatory have. They can use their brains full potential which is why they are considered the most intelligent criminal syndicate.
Weapon/s: Each member carries a dagger which they can control telekinetically
He also carries a pistol
History: Christian Winters was born into a great family of decent wealth where he received the best education he could. He was put into after school programs like swimming and gymnastics, and was on school academic teams. He use to regularly spar with his dad who showed him how to box and tae kwon do. He never beat his dad but gave him a run for his money at times. He was always surprised how no matter how good he got it is like his father was always playing with him.
Christian never knew what his father did as there were times he saw his father leave and come back as if he had been fighting but he stayed by his dad’s side always. One night when he was nine he heard his parents arguing and that was the day his mother was crying saying how she couldn’t take it anymore and she left them. She wanted to take Christian with her but his dad grabbed her hand and something happened to her and she decided to leave by herself. (He went into her mind and influenced her mentally).
Over the year’s Christian had become his own man even volunteered to help at churches as he had become very religious. He had moved out at 17 when he went to look for his mom and he found her, living in Fairview. She told him everything about who his father was which is the Phantom member of Purgatory. Christian was crushed, until his father found him about a year later, and he was hurt badly he told Christian that he had to find him or else the other’s would kill him, unless someone took his place as only few had the gift which was genetic. His dad went into his mind and unlocked his powers which he kept dormant not wanting his son to continue his dark legacy but he had no choice whoever the leader of purgatory was, he was ruthless. His father slipped into a coma and Christian had to watch over him, he was given orders on crimes to commit, as he was now wraith.
Extra: He doesn’t want to be a villain but has no choice or else they will kill his father as he can’t protect him as Purgatory has a psychic link to them all and in his dad’s weakened state he can’t defend himself mentally from an attack.
Crush: no one yet

Now I am not one to gawk but I was completely lusting over Bennie, but that is just my natural human desires really, but then again am i even human. I was told i am a genetic anomaly one and a million human being who can use his body, and mind to its full potential along other talents. But i digress Bennie was gorgeous but i am not the type to be involved with a woman, and no i am not gay just that my life recently has become incredibly complicated. I look at her as she walks to her seat but, then i come back to reality, as i hear one of their voices in my head.
"Wow pretty girl are you interested in her, Wraith." he says.
Oh by the way i kinda have a psychic link to 3 other criminals, maybe murderers to my knowledge. They do not know who I am so we go by certain names, they can't see what I see but it something is heavy on our minds we can see blurry images, it is very vague and hard to make out but i guess my focus on Bennie caused one of them to see her briefly. "I'd appreciate it if you get out of my head, trust me i'll be sure to do better blocking this link." I say as i forcibly phase him out, i didn't even care which one it was.
Mr. Stanton goes to slam a book on my desk but I catch it before it lands. "Sorry I guess I wasn't interrupting your day-dream Mr. Winters" he says.
"Oh no Mr. Stanton, i just zoned off for a second i'm awake and aware of my surroundings" I say with a church boy smile but Mr. Stanton was a hardass he didn't even crack a smile. He did good not too, i hated wearing this mask with this chaotic life i lead.
Mr. Stanton walked around and asked us to write a response as to what we believe the meaning behind the novel The Count Of Monte Cristo
What I believe the Count of Monte Cristo is about a man who is dismayed by the limitations of society’s criminal justice system. Societal justice has allowed his enemies to slip through the cracks, going unpunished for the heinous crimes they have committed against him. Moreover, even if his enemies’ crimes were uncovered, Dantès does not believe that their punishment would be true justice. Although Dantes is caused great emotional pain, I feel that I can identify with him in a way because he is shackled mentally, and has to do things he never thought he would but he knows that in the end he will receive true salvation ....although some of us feel that there is no way to atone for the sins we have committed in our lives we cannot look towards humanity to judge us. what Dantès ultimately learns, as he sometimes wreaks havoc in the lives of the innocent as well as the guilty, is that justice carried out by human beings is inherently limited. The limits of such justice lie in the limits of human beings themselves. Lacking God’s omniscience and omnipotence, human beings are simply not capable of—or justified in—carrying out the work of a higher power... so we have to hope that when we face punishment on earth that our true fate may be salvation in heaven.
A couple of tears hit the paper but i finish my response and raise my hand to give it to Mr. Stanton
I stare blankly at my sheet of lined paper. Not a single word is written on it, and I hover the pencil over it, as though waiting for the essay to write itself. My mind isn’t on the book right now. It’s on everything else. I gaze over at Mr. Stanton, watching as he moves over to Chris. I squint, trying to get a better look at him. Was he. . . crying? There was no way! Not him. He looked too. . . what’s the word I’m looking for?
“Miss Wars. Please get to work! Don’t make you hold you after class even longer than I already have to.” Mr. Stanton heavily sighs. I jump slightly, startled as he is standing in front of me. When the hell did he move over here? I stare at the sheet of paper in his hand’s, the one Chris must have given him. I blink, lips slightly parting as I see stains. From tears.
Mr. Stanton clears his throat, “And no cheating.” He scolds, hiding the paper away from my view. I release a quiet huff as he starts to trail around the classroom, collecting papers and checking on those who thought they had been hiding the fact they’re texting.
“Miss Wars. Work. Now.” He calls from over his shoulder.
Groaning, I slam my head on the desktop.
[Lunch]
I am surrounded by people, as usual. I sit at the table, trying to eat my lunch. But, the sound of laughter, gossip and couples making out around me. . . it all just makes my appetite diminish. I want to eat alone. In peace. But every time I try to move to some other place, the crowd seems to follow. I close my eyes for a second, trying to drown out the sound of everyone as I go to take a bite of my sandwich.
“Hey babe.” The voice cuts through like a knife, and I open my eyes. Which instantly narrow.
“Get out of here Rick.” I tell him.
“Come on. Can’t I get at least one picture with the hottest girl in Fairview High?” He grins, moving one seat too close.
I rise out of my spot, and glare at him. “I’m trying to eat.” I hiss between my teeth. When it comes to food and I, no one should step between us. “So just leave me alone. Please.” I say, trying to be polite in this situation.
He looks at me for a moment before lifting up the camera, and snapping a picture. The light flashes, blinding me for a second and I stumble back. I can feel the back of my foot catch on something, and soon enough I find myself falling back. If I flipped, they would get suspicious.
