Username char limitations

I have finally implemented restrictions on what chars you can use for usernames. Names can only contain letters, numbers, brackets, braces, parenthesis, spaces, colons, pipes, and periods.

To clarify: letters = A-Za-z .

Also, the username is not allowed to start or end with a space.

Should there be anything else allowed in usernames?

This could get annoying if someone puts a space in the end or beginning of their username as it can be hard to forget you did.

Can you do hearts? like on other sites? lol or the TM sign?

Nope, I wanted to make it so a standard US keyboard can be used without need for ALT combos. I also stripped other special chars for security reasons.

well you can do as myspace did and just go ♥ to make a heart etc.
