"Voilà! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. "
Oh, what is this? Getting all techincal on me? Pfft, it wasn't generalized what kind of candy! So there! *unceremoniously sticks tongue out* I can name whatever manufactured garbage candy that I want.
People with courage and character always seem sinister to the rest.
Oh, I agree with you there Pancakes. I've always preferred dark chocolate. It tastes better, it's healthier, it's difficult to eat it all in one go (so it lasts longer =D). Of course, I also always liked it because most people hate it, so that meant less people would try and eat my chocolate.
Huh? Signature? What's going on with that signature?
Indeed it is pancakes and I for one really do enjoy the 80% cocoa premium quality dark chocolate. What you migh describe as a mud taste to me is a really nice earthy flavor. Of course good dark chocolate is complex on the palate. That's what makes it good.
I'll eat Hershey's Special Dark when it's presented to me but it's a little too sweet for my taste. I do enjoy the bitter taste of dark chocolate. You get most of the flavor of the chocolate that way, that is, most of the flavor of the chocolate and not the sugar and whatever else is added down the line. I remember watching something on the food channel Alton Brown did about chocolate and seeing that chocolate is made in stages. Dark chocolate is the second or third stage in that line and still retains most of it's original flavors.
I also like my coffee like I like my sith. Strong. Dark. Two sugars; No more, no less.
I dislike Hershy's Special Dark Chocolate because it masquerades as dark chocolate but it's really not. I'll eat it, if I have it, but I prefer real dark chocolate because it tastes better. It's not as sweet but it's not completely bitter. And it always tasted much cleaner than milk to me.
