People hurt...my...brain.

It really sucks when people sue for shit like. Since the stupid woman can't sue the earth, she sues the place where the animal attacked her. These frivolous lawsuits are really screwed up.

This is ridiculous. I can only hope she gets laughed out of court. It's people like this that make it harder on everyone else when they actually have legitimate cases.

I don't know about Chicago, but there's a ton of squirrels in California and you don't need to feed them or 'encourage' them for them to stay in the area, and if you warned people "Look out, there's squirrels outside!" people would think you were mad. But watch, because of this stores will have to have big "Beware of small mammals" sign visible when you exit the store.

Also - The squirrel didn't actually hurt her, it seems to me that she hurt herself. If she believes it's being cared for, it probably wasn't attacking her but being friendly so it'd get some food.

My sister (who lived in California) says that you don't have to feed them, they're just so used to people being around that they're not really scared.

The squirrels here are perfectly fine around people. Why would it attack one person so easily, but not the people who were "interacting with an feeding it."?

It didn't actually attack her. It 'attached itself to her leg' and she took that for an attack and panicked

It shows that Americans will blame everyone else for a problem but themselves.
