Konqueror Browser Fri Feb 23, 2007 9:06:28 PM#34511Perm Link
In Linux the default browser in KDE is Konqueror. Though many user prefer either Mozilla Firefox or Opera, when I checked up this browser it seemed to me as a quite good browser having an option where you can actulaly choose it to behave like IE/Firefox/Opera.
Konqueror reminds me of explorer in Windows. I like the KHTML rendering engine (pretty much the same as in WebKit), but last time I used Konqueror I couldn't set it up the exact way I wanted it and dropped it for Firefox.
2014 is going to be a good year. More content, more streamlining. Be a part of history!
konqueror is quite nice, yeah. If it weren't for the violent FF adoption in Mandriva, OpenSUSE and consorts, nearly all KDE users would be using it because it fits nicely into KDE and - why not ?
That's right Zombie. Yesterday I was using Konqueror and yeah it's really a nice browser, takes minimum resources and everthing seems to smooth. Moreover it is well integrated in the KDE environment.
