New Bike

I just purchased a new bike. It's a Yamaha V-Star Custom (650cc). I should have my license in a week or two. The Firebird is also mine.

It was $6,500.00 with an extended warranty (4 years) and after all other charges. I got a really good financing agreement too with $500.00 cash back.

The license is fairly easy to get. You either know someone else with a bike or can take a class and then get the license.

Yeah I needed a bike to practice with. You need a bike to practice but you're supposed to have a license to drive it. It runs you in a circle.

It's just something fun and cheap that I can play with...& if I ever have to throw it down, it's easy to pick up. It's a fun little bike. It has never let me down...& I can't have it overpower me bc I'm a small weak girl. So it's perfect for me.

V-stars very reliable, i'd take one over a harley anyday, my dad used to have the 1100cc version, loved it.

I've heard a lot of good things about them. I've been enjoying this one so far. It's a nice smooth ride. I have to break in the clutch still though. Every now and then the damn thing has a bit of trouble getting back into first when down shifting.
