Turns out that my school owes me like a good $1200 I just wish that they would give it up with no prob, i mean they expect US to give THEM our money in a heartbeat but they cant reciprocate?!

They usually just hold it in the account until you owe them more.

Mine does something similar. If money earned through work-study exceeds the tuition bill, it's dumped into the debit card account we have on our student IDs.

I hear you on this one. There really should be no reason not to give it to you. I hate when they keep until to apply to the next bill. Drives me nuts. Of course I am out now so I don't have to worry about it anymore.
