Magic The Gathering Cards up for sale Sat Sep 15, 2007 9:10:01 PM#41188Perm Link
I have a whole bunch of them that are just collecting dust here soi figured othersmight need them or want to collect them so im gonna put them up on ebay later on ill post up a list and pics of what they are on the forum if anybody is interested PM me!
Although I haven't played in over like a year now and I probably won't buy them, what sets are they? I have a fuckton from Nemesis/Prophecy, everyone has shit from like 9th edition(hell I don't know is it 10th now? 11th?), and I have a buttload of Ravnica(Ravinca? I forget) cards. My decks are sweet as hell. Too bad I'll never play again.
Any edition pre-10th is going to suck because it's white bordered.
Unless you are selling wogs, dams, tarmos, shapeshifters, snow-covered anything, visions, etc etc etc etc... then I can't say I will be too interested.
There's no reason to feel like a loser because you play Magic: The Gathering. It is one of the most widely played games in the world. There is a booming competitive scene where professional gamers can try and make their living playing Magic: The Gathering. And it's not just nerds in highschool who play it. When I used to play at my local store, I met all types of people, i.e.; jocks, nerds, girls(??!?!!!????), scenester kids, hipsters, etc. etc. etc.
You'd be surprised just how wide of a demographic Magic: The Gathering has.
But I dunno, I play competitively when I can. I usually work every Friday and Saturday, so it's hard for me to get to FNMs and SNMs, but I go to all the prereleases I can, I play at GenCon and other gaming festivals, and when I go home for the summer I play at my local cardshop whenever I can.
Magic: The Gathering is right up there with D&D, GURPS, and Settlers of Catan for one of the best games ever made.
