I really liked the movie. It wasn't exactly the most amazing movie, and yes it was crude, but it was so funny that I could not help but to love it. Jack Black is one of my favorite actors, he's so funny sometimes.

I thought it sucked. Some parts were funny though.

A friend told me about the movie, but he didn't really liked it. Now I am very curious about it, because there are so many different opinions about it. Hope to find it some way or another.

I have heard that a lot of people do not like the movie, mainly because it's very crude humor. I like that type of humor every once in a while, but I mainly like Jack Black so that's why I went to see it in the first place.

I had to see it in the theater the opening week.
I saw it because I like Tenacious D and they're loosely connected to bands I like ie Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age, and Eagles of Death Metal (they're in some of their videos).
I wouldn't say it was the best movie but it had its moments, and a pretty good soundtrack.

ewwww eagles of death metal so bad..so so so bad...so bad..so bad ...so so so bad....my brain it hurts.

The soundtrack really was great. I was really surprised that it was actually worth listening to, then again anything with Jack Black is worth my time.
