If you are using that word out of context because you've heard it become trendy to label scenester kids as emos because they have slanty hair, tight pants, youth large shirts, etc. then I would say that your ignorance of the word and it's meaning when it originated only helps to perpetuate the bastardization of the meaning word now to a stupid stereotype and thus that comment is full of SARS and fail.

And so began the Emo arguement..
