Oil is past its prime. We need good alternative fuels... not this corn ethanol crap. Sugar beat, switchgrass, HEMP! all beat corn ethanol.

We need nuclear plants so we can get hydrogen off the ground.

Or compressed air.

In the end, we need fusion...

We should all get cars that run on vegetable oil! I got that from Rob and Big.They got their small black car to run on vegetable oil.I kinda wanna do that to my car but i don't think so.It's really expensive to do that .

And we need power to produce the energy to advance to such a technology. Again, stopped by the Environazis.

Well if we at least put solar panels on houses and other buildings, it would lower electric costs considerably.

And how will we mass produce them in such quantity? Have you seen the process? It takes quite awhile to just make one sheet. That's why they are so god damn expensive.

Hell, if they were efficient, I'd totally agree with you. But right now they aren't, and the reason you get that check is because it needs and incentive due it it's current inefficiency. You can't force people to use something that isn't efficient, especially if it's still year and years down the road where it would become more efficient. Right now we need energy, as in the next 5 to 10 years. We should be using what we have now. The plan should be:

1. Drill Oil off our coasts and in Alaska to bring current prices lower to a more bearable level.
2. Build Nuclear Power Plants and shut down power plants that use oil, more for use in automobiles bring prices down further and prices for heating oil down too.
3. Use energy to produce more biofuels that actually are more efficient like BioDiesel instead of Ethanol(very inefficient, eats the inside of engines in our current cars) and use that for Diesel vehicles, further lowering prices, and since it will be cheap to produce, it will be cheaper at the pump.
4. With the abundance of energy over time as more Nuclear Power Plants are built, use that energy for research in Hydrogen powered cars. When Hydrogen becomes so efficient, as in more efficient and cheaper than Gasoline, the switchover will happen.

This would have to be our plan for the next 20 to 30 years if we wanted to get off oil.

Even with the current breeder reactors (which we should have until we get sustainable fusion working), the fuel supply will be limited.

Hydrogen is only good when we get an abundance of energy. Short term fission is fine, longer term solar, fusion, wind, and ethanol are good choices.

There is no one answer. Solar has its uses as does all the other technologies... Oil has as well, we need it for plastics...

Wind/water power bitchs, that seems to be the most fisible solution. However there is no fucking way you can get those yuppies out of their lame ass hummers.

Each country has a certain amount of petroleum companies to help them with the production of the necessary amounts of oil that is required by that country.

the good thing is that the government makes you think that oil will be there forever...which is not true unless...lets be honest...they want to attack countries that are poor or dont have a way to defend themselves against them at all and also have a lot of...oil that will help them compensate for the lack of oil in that country, so unless we at least start making small changes in our way to use energy there is just no way we will be able to keep living with the same technology or depending on petroleum as much as we do today

ok here is the salution:start diging for oil now but keep taking in oil from other countrys,that away if it does happen to take ten years to drill for actuol oil(which it wont)we well still have a supplie of it comeing in then once we get some oil it will become cheaper for us

That's hydro as in hydro-electricity. Hydrogen needs to be broken apart from water which is no problem with a good power infrastructure.

It seems to me that you are the stupid one. You keep spelling things wrong and have grammatical errors in every single post you make. I don't know if you are ignorant or just plain stupid. I suspect it is the later, meaning you probably get knowledge and it just bounces off you like a rubber ball.
