Nova

Its been so long since I've seen earth, but if not for me then the universe would be in peril. I watch the sky's and devote my life to the safety of all life; No matter who or what it is. I didn't want this job but I took it anyway. It's my life and duty to save this world from destruction and devastation. I am the last, but that does not mean we cannot rebuild. I will push all I have into the rebuilding of this great core. I am the danger of an exploding sun, I am the warmth when all is cold, I am the protector of the universe.


I AM NOVA.




You see its not just a name anymore, but who I am. I wasn't there when they were wiped out but I am the last now. However, some things will change. I will bring the new generation up by a different standard. Here's what I think. I was right...but Worldmind was right too. There ought to be a Corps, but I want to build it slowly and carefully. The last nova were all exceptional. But this time they will become the first generation of probationers. We'll train together, and work together. Then, when they're all ready, we'll recruit the next generation together. Bringing the uprising of nova again.




I now watch over Earth-616. My home planet. It's well secured without my help though. With the Avengers and X-men, and all those lone heroes like spidey, I can travel away to distant worlds and protect those who are defenseless.

From villains such as the Skrulls,



or... The Titan God Thanos. Who's powers rival those of Galactus, The eater of worlds.



Though there are many who can stand in their way, Nova are the only true way to stop them. I am going to meet with silver surfer now. He may have once been a puppet of Galactus but we cannot forsake those under his power. I feel an unsettling storm is coming and I need his input. This feeling in my gut only comes when the end of everything is near...
