Sound cards

While I agree that getting other sound options into the market is a good thing I do have to disagree with the idea that this is a good chipset. It does not support hardware DirectSound. So it relies more on the CPU than other sound cards with hardware DirectSound support. Since I am a gamer I will have to keep this one off my list.

My box says: Supports EAX, DirectSound3d and A3D

I have no problems whatsoever as a gamer. Been using it for well over 6 months and I am a very happy customer.
