They bring Cabella to the pokemon center they had a wing for humans.
Voss stayed with cabella....Albion to after cabella risked everything to save his pokemon he refused other challengers until he battled cabella
Albion sits in the room with Voss. He looks at Cabella and slightly smiles, and then glances over at Voss. "Are you two together?" He wonders aloud, arching a brow. "By the way you two look at each other. . . there seems to be some sort of. . . spark?" He chuckles.
Cabella was in that world again. And due to her eyes being shut, everyone in the outside world couldn't see her glowing purple eyes. But, she could in the reflection that is before her. But, as the shimmering orb of energy passes by, so does her reflection. Cabella moves through the world, the large planet in front of her seemingly lightyears away. But, she just continues to move towards it, as if the answers were there. . . calling out to her, drawing her near.
Voss looks at him "I appreciate you holding off on your gym activity until she gets better" he says
Voss goes outside for a walk...rioulu goes to follow but Voss stopped him..."I just need to be alone buddy" he says as he leaves....
Its night and he walked in the path outside the caves.
He felt powerless
"Damn...cabella wake up" he says kicking a weak tree...causing a pokemon to attack.
The volatile scolipede attacks. .."SCOOOLIPEEDE" it screams as it attacks Voss...
Voss runs for his life but the scolipede is firing multiple attacks destroying trees and blocking off Voss escape route. .."damn" he says as he didn't have his pokemon with him....
"TOTODILE!" The outcry comes from close by. Scolipede is suddenly sent back by a powerful stream of water. Totodile jumps in front of Voss, and growls at the Scolipede. Something seemed to be different about Totodile, though.
Albion is in the room still. He looks at Cabella and laughs under his breath. She reminded him of his girlfriend - Azzurra, the water gym leader. She is energetic. Stubborn. Tough. And Albion admires that in any person.
"Get out of here totodile....scolipede has a large advantage...against you" he says
As scolipede uses thrash and rams into totodile...sending him into a tree
But, Totodile rises. It doesn't listen to Voss. It continues to growl, its brows furrowed and all of its muscles tense. Totodile begins to glow red. And it bursts forward from all fours and towards Scolipede. It wouldn't stop until it brings the pokemon down. It wouldn't stop fighting until Cabella was safe. Until Totodile had shown that it can protect. Until it has redeemed itself.
scolipede powers an energyball to fire
Voss is worried scolipedes have toxic bodies just coming in contact with it could poison a pokemon
The pokemon fires the attack which is super effective against water types rioulu drops down from a tree and blocks the attack with endure he then tries to calm his friend down
Totodile looks at Rioulu and snarls, carefully shoving the pokemon aside as it continues to glow an even brighter red. It puffs out its chest to make itself seem bigger, but it was useless. Totodile was still small compared to Scolipede. "DILE!" The pokemon practically roars, charging once more. But instead of striking Scolipede, Totodile rams into something else. It opens its eyes and looks up to see Cabella, her arms wrapped around Totodile. "Toto. . ." The pokemon instantly relaxes.
Cabella takes in a ragged breath, turning slightly to look at Scolipede, "Don't you have somewhere to be?" She asks the pokemon, her brows knitted together. And as her eyes glowed that strange purple, so does Scolipede. And suddenly, the pokemon scurries away and back into its tree. Cabella blinks rapidly, unsure of what had happened. Shaking her head, she rises, and looks at Voss. She flashes him a wide grin. It was actually quite the sight. . . with Cabella being in a hospital gown and all.
Cabella takes in a deep breath before making her way over to Voss, and taking hold of his hand. "I need to show you something." She whispers, lowering her head slightly to stare at the ground. When she looks up at Voss, her eyes are once more that strange purple. "But only if you're ready?" She frowns, now holding both of his hands.
Cabella takes in a deep breath before closing her eyes. She takes a step closer to Voss, still holding his hands. And Totodile watches, amazed and confused as Cabella's entire body begins to glow a bright violet hue. The aura intensifies, and then becomes multicolored. And within a second, Cabella's aura envelopes Voss.
The two are in the world. The one with the floating masses of rock. The largest of the masses carries what appears to be an entire city. She stands with Voss on a cliff, holding his hand. She looks at Voss, and then at the world around them. "This isn't the real thing. . . only what I can show you. . ." Cabella sighs, kicking at a flower. Her foot passes through it. "But I just wanted you to see what I had seen." And as she says this, the entire world shifts into the one with the surrounding planets, and she and Voss are now in the sky. "This is where I was. . . when I disappeared in the caves. I really don't know what had happened. I wish I knew." She looks away from Voss.
Cabella opens her eyes, and they are back in the real world, and Cabella's eyes are once more normal. Totodile rushes over to them, and hugs Cabella's leg. They hadn't disappeared. But, that scary aura was gone.
Voss looks at her his mind blown
"Cabella I don't know what that place was or why you were brought there but don't go back....that's not normal...maybe that's what the aeon hunters probably want" he says....
"Lets go Albion is waiting for us at the gym" he says
Cabella stands frozen for a moment, her eyes widening. It all made sense now. The Aeon Hunters. . . they had been searching for that. That portal. Or whatever it was. They had been searching for. . . "Nebusteria." She mutters under her breath.
She clears her throat before smiling at Voss once more, and pointing at the night sky above. "It's a bit late, don't you think?" She laughs. "And we've all had a long day. Albion especially." She snickers. She wouldn't be surprised if Albion was more focused on letting his family and friends know he's okay over being focused on some gym battle. "Let's just go get some sleep. Please." She practically pleads.
Cabella holds Voss' hand, and leads them back to the main area of Cobblestone City. She stands in front of a nice house that has two stories, and knocks on the door. The door slowly opens, and an older woman peers through a crack. The door suddenly swings open, and Cabella faintly smiles at the lady who stands in front of her. The woman then says, "Cabella~ Come on in!"
And she steps aside for the two to enter. Cabella leads her and Voss inside of the house, where the woman looks at Voss. Cabella then introduces them, "Aunt Cheryl, this is Voss. . . Voss, this is Cheryl, my aunt." She smiles.
"You two look exhausted!" Cheryl exclaims. A Purugly makes its way over to them and gives a loud meow.
Cabella bends over to scratch the cat pokemon behind the ear and then the chin, and then replies to her aunt, "Yeah. . . we are." She nods.
"I'll show you to some rooms then." Cheryl smiles from Cabella to Voss. She then brings them up the stairs, and shows them to two separate rooms.
"Thank you~" Cabella chimes. She watches as her aunt descends down the stairs, and then looks at Voss. She continues to hold his hand, and leads them to the room she had been given. Cabella closes the door with her foot, and then lets out a barely audible sigh.
"Umm your aunt gave me my own room....I'm sure we aren't supposed to be in the same room" he says to her...it was one thing sharing a room when by they were alone but not when her aunt was here.
"You ok cabella" Voss asked
Cabella trudges her way over to the bed, and starts to crawl under the covers. She is still wearing the hospital gown. Her clothes are still in her bag at the pokemon center. She sits in the bed and looks at Voss, "We have been traveling together for a while now, Voss. Who. . . or what. . . am I to you?" She wonders aloud. For a moment she seemed to be frowning. But as the full moon broke through the nearby window and lit up her face, it reveals a faint smile. "Voss. . . I heard what Albion had asked you. . . about us being together."
She is curled up in the blankets as she sits up, knees tucked to chest. The smile falters. "And please be honest with your answer. I just want to know so I don't. . . get things messed up or anything for you if you ever do like. . . I guess end up finding someone. . . or I don't know." She burrows her face into the blanket, wrapping arms around her legs to pull them closer to herself. "I just don't know." Her voice is muffled, but still audible. She glances up slightly to look at him, "I just don't want to be the girl who thinks of us as something if. . . if you think of us as nothing." And she continues to look directly at him.
"You are more important to me then any other woman i could possibly meet" he says sitting next to her
"We're in a relationship. ..just taking it slow...not an open relationship or something. .." he says
He gripped her face..."you showed me a world i could not even dream up cabella. ...this is real"
Cabella could feel her heart flutter in her chest as she looks at Voss, and a full smile splits across her face. She is quick to hug Voss, and tries her hardest to not cry at his words. They meant more to her than he could probably ever imagine. And Cabella can only say a quiet, "Thank you."
"Your welcome. ..now let's rest up Albion will be your second battle for a badge...but he is a rock type gym leader so you and totodile have a advantage but You have to be smart and use him wisely." He says
"Your welcome. ..now let's rest up Albion will be your second battle for a badge...but he is a rock type gym leader so you and totodile have a advantage but You have to be smart and use him wisely." He says
"I know, I know. I learned my lesson after battling Roach, and nearly losing despite having an advantage." Cabella quietly laughs as she lays down, and closes her eyes. But, she opens them once more, and produces a subtle sigh. Every time she closes her eyes and starts to drift off, she finds herself back in that world. "I'm never going to get to sleep again." She grumbles, covering her face with the covers.
Voss was knocked out asleep but before that he was thinking that Cabella had a major advantage but he was at a disadvantage. ...especially with elekid and duskull.
When morning rolls around, Cabella is surprised. She actually still felt awake and energized, despite only getting bits and pieces of sleep throughout the night. She leaps out of bed and throws her fists into the air, "Today is the day that I shall get my second badg!" She exclaims. But, her face turns red slightly as she remembers still being in a hospital gown. Cabella clears her throat and adds, "AFTER I go to the pokemon center to get my bag and clothes!"
[Later]
“I’ve been waiting.” Albion smiles, arms folded over chest. He stands on one side of the field, while Cabella is on the other. “I also never got the chance to thank you.”
“Not a problem!” Cabella grins, her hands on her hips. Albion nods, chuckling.
“Are you ready then?” He asks her whilst pulling out a pokeball.
“Of course.” Cabella smirks, doing the same.
“Alright. Go, Roggenrolla,” Albion calls out, releasing his pokemon.
Cabella releases her pokemon at the same time as she calls out, “You’re up, Pawniard!”
“PAWN!” The pokemon begins to slice at the air with its bladed hands. Roggenrola almost appeared to be doing a small dance.
“Roggenrola, use harden.” Albion commands. Roggenrola glows for a second, its defense having been increased.
“That’s not going to help~” Cabella laughs, hands planted firmly on her hips. “Pawniard use Leer!” And as Pawniard’s eyes glow red, Roggenrola’s entire body – signaling lowered defense. “And now use Metal Sound!”
Pawniard begins to rub its bladed hands together, and as it continues to do so, sound waves are suddenly sent outwards and straight at Roggenrola.
“Roggenrola, protect yourself from those sound waves by using Rock Slide.” Albion is quick to tell his pokemon.
Roggenrola does another little dance, and then rings of energy suddenly appear above Roggenrola and around it. When Roggenrola stops moving, boulders fall out of the rings, and they surround Roggenrola, protecting it from the sound waves. “And now use Rock Slide on Pawniard.”
And on command, the energy rings appear all around Pawniard, and quickly end up releasing boulders right down on the warrior pokemon. But, Cabella swiftly says, “Jump on the rocks Pawniard.” And Pawniard does as its told, and as the boulders begin to fall from the sky, Pawniard jumps off them. It then leaps off the last and highest boulder, and straight into the air.
“Now Pawniard, do just as we had in the cave!” Cabella points.
And within seconds Pawniard dives down and straight towards the boulders that had been acting as a protective shield around Roggenrola, and with the added momentum is quick to slice them all to rubble. Roggenrola is startled as it is revealed, and before Albion could respond, Cabella had already shouted, “Do it!”
And both of Pawniard’s bladed hands glow a whitish purple, and it slashes twice at Roggenrola. The move Night Slash is also known for having a high critical hit ratio. And this would be one of those moments of relief for Cabella and Pawniard as they watch Roggenrola tip backwards, fainting with swirly eyes.
Albion returns his pokemon and praises it, and Cabella leaves Pawniard out. “You’re doing great Pawniard! Keep up the excellent work~” Cabella smiles brightly at her pokemon, earning a thumbs up.
“You’re up next, Shieldon,” Albion says as he releases his second pokemon.
“Shieldon, start us off with Metal Sound,” Albion calls out.
Shieldon’s mask begins to move, though it is barely noticeable. The pokemon closes its eyes as its mask begins to glow. As it does, sound waves are released and blast towards Pawniard.
“Pawniard, I want you to jump through those sound waves and use Night Slash!” Cabella grins from ear to ear as she points. Pawniard doesn’t even question Cabella’s command, and dashes forward. Like a tiger at a circus jumping through hoops, the pokemon leaps through all of the sound waves with one glowing bladed hand outstretched before it.
“Take Down.” Albion quickly tells his pokemon. Shieldon crouches down and a golden forcefield surrounds its body. Its body then becomes surrounded in a light bronze energy and Shieldon slams its body into Pawniard.
The collision of Pawniard’s Night Slash and Shieldon’s Take Down sends both pokemon back. But, Shieldon is sent flying backwards, and lands with a light thud. But, it gets back up, “Don. . Shieldon.” The pokemon groans, shaking its head. It looks at Pawniard, who is still on its feet, slashing at the air, ready for anything.
Albion smiles somewhat and fixes his glasses. “Shieldon, use Tackle.”
Shieldon charges head on towards Pawniard, and Cabella remains silent for a moment. Something was definitely off about this. “Pawniard, stay where you are.”
Pawniard does so, and stands its ground. And as soon as Shieldon is in front of Pawniard, Albion says, “Now, Metal Sound.”
And Shieldon’s mask begins to glow right in front of Pawniard. Cabella smiles, and calls out, “Metal Claw.”
But instead of sweeping in a scratching motion, the tip of Pawniard’s glowing bladed hand touches Shieldon’s forehead. And the Metal Sound seemed to backfire as Shieldon cries out, and staggers backwards and away from Pawniard, who then goes in to strike with its other arm.
Shieldon collapses, fainting. Pawniard stands victorious once more, causing Cabella to give another bright grin, “That was wonderful Pawniard!” She praises.
Albion returns his pokemon, and then brings out another pokeball.
Cabella decides to return Pawniard, wanting to give her other pokemon a chance. She tosses a pokeball into the air, and releases Staravia. The bird pokemon soars up and then dives back down. “RA!” It caws.
Albion then lets out his third pokemon. “Solrock, get the job done.”
“Staravia, Double Team,” Cabella commands. Within a second, there are at least a dozen Staravias. Cabella’s smile widens at the sight. Her pokemon had definitely gotten stronger after evolving. Before, there had only been four Staravia clones made by Double Team. . .
Albion looks at all of the Staravias and smiles as well. This would be interesting. “Solrock, use Psywave to get rid of those doppelgangers.”
Solrock's body becomes outlined in light blue, and its eyes also glow light blue. Solrock then fires light blue rings at all of the Staravias.
Cabella is swift to notice how they are rings once more. With openings. Her smile widening, Cabella calls out to all of the Staravias, “Aerial Ace!”
Knowing exactly what to do, all of the clones move. And as they become blurs whilst diving down, the white streaks envelope their bodies. They dive through the rings of blue energy, causing them to explode into particles of energy in the sky. The sight was actually quite beautiful as all of the Staravias are suddenly together. . . moving as one giant drill of white energy. And as Albion tries to make his pokemon dodge the attack, it was far too fast.
Albion calls out for his pokemon to use Rock Tomb on itself, and Solrock is suddenly encased in giant rocks. But, as the massive aerial ace composed of a dozen Staravias strikes, the rocks don’t stand a chance. And there’s a massive explosion of debris.
Solrock is sent soaring back and out of the explosion, and all of the Staravias disappear, leaving the real one. Staravia flaps its wings to keep itself airborne, and Albion’s eyes seemed to widen somewhat behind the lenses of his glasses. He had been right all along. This was the battle he had been waiting for all his career as a gym leader.
Solrock shakes its body, removing some dirt. The Rock Tomb may not have worked, but it at least took some of the damage that would have otherwise all went to Solrock.
“Solrock, I want you to use Hypnosis on Staravia.” Albion commands.
Solrock begins to glow pink, and it fires a ray of pink energy at Staravia.
“Dodge,” Cabella retorts. Staravia flips over the ray of energy, but doesn’t expect Solrock to suddenly be charging straight towards it – with a Zen Headbutt ready.
Knowing the attack is too close to dodge, Cabella tells Staravia, “Aerial Ace once more!”
Cabella and Albion watch as the two pokemon collide with great and powerful attacks. Another explosion goes off due to their collision, and when it settles, Staravia is seen still flapping its wings while Solrock is on the ground. Down for the count.
“Well done Cabella.” Albion mutters, arching a brow as he returns his pokemon.
Cabella smiles brightly at Staravia, “That was amazing!” She laughs, throwing her hands into the air.
Albion is on his fourth pokemon. “Lunatone, you’re up.”
Cabella returns Staravia, and she looks down at Totodile – who had been at her side the entire time. She gestures towards the field, and Totodile leaps forth and in front of Lunatone.
“Let’s end this quickly Lunatone, I want you to use Psychic.” Albion says whilst fixing his glasses.
Lunatone’s body becomes surrounded in a light blue outline, and Totodile also becomes surrounded in light blue as well. The light then fades from around Lunatone’s body. . . and Lunatone is now capable of controlling Totodile with its mind.
Albion looks at Cabella, hoping to get some sort of negative reaction from her. His smug smirk disappears though as Cabella is still smiling. She is staring directly at Totodile. Albion jumps slightly and yelps as Cabella is suddenly looking at him. “We’ve got this!” She shouts, throwing a fist into the air.
“You think so?” Albion chuckles. “I’m sorry to break it to you, but I control your Totodile now. I can command your pokemon to faint.”
But, when Albion goes to look at Totodile, Totodile is in the same position as Cabella – with one fist to the sky. Albion is clearly startled by this, and looks from Totodile to Cabella multiple times.
“Totodile and I are practically the same.” Cabella grins from ear to ear. “Meaning, we’re the most stubborn beings on this entire planet!”
And with that Totodile produces a roar far too strong to have actually belonged to it. And Lunatone is sent flinching backwards, having lost control over Totodile.
“Good to know.” Albion snickers, fixing his glasses once more. “Alright then, Lunatone use Rock Polish.” The lines of Lunatone’s body begin to glow red, signaling an increase in speed.
Cabella stares at Lunatone. She then returns her attention to Totodile, and says, “Totodile, Water Gun.”
Totodile does as its told, and shoots a stream of powerful water directly at Lunatone. But, with its increased speed, Lunatone gracefully moves aside on command. Albion then adds, “Lunatone, Stone Edge.”
Three blue rings surround Lunatone's body. Then, the rings glow white and form into chunks of gray stones that circle around Lunatone’s body. Lunatone's eyes then glow blue. As its eyes glow brighter, the chunks of rock are sent flying towards Totodile. But, Lunatone has control over each stone.
“Double Team Totodile,” Cabella calls out. Suddenly, there are five Totodiles on the field. They all fan out, jumping around. Lunatone sends the three large stones at three of the Totodiles, destroying those three clones. It then quickly produces two more stones out of the air, and goes after the last two. One Totodile leaps off the others back, and the one that had been used as a spring board is destroyed by the stone. Lunatone controls the last stone to go after the last Totodile – which is in the air.
“Totodile, I want you to use that stone to give yourself speed and then use Scratch.” Cabella orders.
Just as the stone is about to strike Totodile, the pokemon skillfully curls into a tight enough ball that the stone passes right under it in the air. Totodile uncurls at the right time, and its feet connect with the back part of the stone. It then pushes itself off the stone and moves at blinding speed, down towards Lunatone with glowing claws.
Lunatone panics slightly, and controls the stone once more, making it do a U-turn and go after Totodile. But, Totodile scratches at Lunatone, and then leaps up and over the moon pokemon. And just as Totodile is behind Lunatone, the stone it had sent drilling down after Totodile ends up striking Lunatone instead – and at the speed of a bullet.
Totodile lands on its feet behind Lunatone, and whirls around on one foot to face Lunatone’s back. The pokemon is too stunned by both the scratch attack and its own stone striking it full force in the face to respond to any of Albion’s commands.
“Water Gun Totodile!” Cabella shouts.
And on command, Totodile releases a powerful Water Gun right at Lunatone’s back. And Lunatone is sent forward by the force of the jet of water. And when the attack is finished, Lunatone drops.
As Totodile returns to Cabella, she hugs her pokemon. “We’re becoming quite the team! You’re definitely getting stronger as the days pass!” She laughs, grasping onto her pokemon tightly.
Albion returns his downed pokemon and then pulls out one last pokeball.
“You’ve done well, Cabella.” Albion states, fixing his glasses as he looks at her. “But, it’s now time for that to end.” He then releases his final pokemon, “Sudowoodo, let’s do this!”
Cabella looks at the pokemon as it jumps from one foot to the next and punches at the air. She then brings out Pawniard once more.
“Pawniard, Metal Sound,” Cabella commands.
And as the sound waves are sent at Sudowoodo, Albion says, “Wood Hammer, on the ground.”
Sudowoodo pulls its arm back. The orbs on its arms glow a bright green. Swiftly, Sudowoodo punches down on the ground. It creates a massive fissure in the ground, and it jumps inside to avoid the sound waves.
“Now, Hammer Arm.”
And out of the ground below Pawniard, Sudowoodo breaks through with its entire arm glowing white. It uppercuts right on Pawniard, glowing arm connecting with Pawniard’s chin. Pawniard is sent up into the air, stunned by the attack. Sudowoodo leaps up after Pawniard, and with its other glowing arm, it strikes down on Pawniard.
Pawniard is driven straight into the ground, forming a crater. And Pawniard faints.
Cabella tenses for a moment. She had a feeling Albion would have a trick up his sleeve. Something like this. Sudowoodo. And she returns her downed pokemon, and then releases Staravia.
“Alright Staravia, we’ve got this.” Cabella tells her pokemon. Staravia flaps its wings, airborne. It looks directly at Sudowoodo, and gives a loud, “Stara!”
Sudowoodo responds with what sounded like a laugh. Confidence. Cabella would always admire confidence. She and Staravia nod at each other, and she orders, “Aerial Ace.”
Staravia swoops up to the ceiling, and then dives down. As soon as it gives a single flap of its wings, it disappears in a blur, and is suddenly surrounded by white streaks.
“Sudowoodo, stand your ground.” Albion commands.
“Woodo.” The pokemon straightens itself out, and remains perfectly still.
And just before Staravia can hit, Albion says, “Hammer Arm.”
With that, Sudowoodo drives both arms down at the same time on the glowing Staravia. The white streaks disperse, showing that Staravia had been hit directly on the top of its head. The bird pokemon is sent drilling down into the ground by Sudowoodo, and instantly faints.
Cabella returns her pokemon, her heart skipping a beat. That Hammer Arm was. . . that was clearly a move to avoid at any costs. Even with a move like Aerial Ace, it had still overpowered completely.
She takes in a deep breath, looking down at Totodile. Totodile’s tail wags. It was excited for this. This would be quite the challenge. And maybe it could fully redeem itself by beating such a powerful opponent. No. . . not through a gym battle.
“You’re up Totodile.” Cabella’s smile returns. Totodile leaps forward and looks at Sudowoodo.
