Pokemon: The Ongaku Region

Voss smiles as they walk...they look everywhere
Cabella sighs as she is tired of looking. "UUGGH...Lets just go to the gym..we'll never find this k...." she began to say until she catches a glimpse of Ferroh's son and gets a rush of energy.

"Voss its them...the Aeon Hunters are here" she says the anger can be heard in her voice...she goes to follow him
Voss pulls her back..."No Cabella don't we'll let someone else handle this" he says
She pulled away from him.."No Voss that's the jerk who hurt you and he's not getting away with...come on Croconaw" she says running off.
Voss followed. ...Cabella may have been angry but she's smart as she released Staravia to trail the Aeon Hunters from above.

Soon they came to a secluded part of the island blocked off for supposed construction but it's where Staravia tailed the Aeon Hunters.
"I cannot believe this..." Voss says as he remained hidden with Cabella as they watched the Hunters.
They had someone whose hands were bound and they dropped him to his knees and Voss and Cabella saw that it was Booker Clay...and Ferroh stepped out of the darkness.

"So Mr Clay you were going to publish what my organization is planning. ..so how much do you know" he asked

Booker looks at them...but an underling the same one Cabella defeated had Bookers backpack with his pokemon. ..over a cliff leading into the ocean.
"Ok...ok...I know you guys are searching for a link to the legendary pokemon Nebusteria...with its power you want to find the links to the lost two legendary pokemon. ..since Nebusteria is the most powerful it will be easy for you to capture the other two...then all legendary pokemon from Lugia...to Groundon, Kyogre...even Dialga and Palkia like the criminal Cyrus" Booker says.
Voss' s heart sinks hearing his father's name.

Ferroh laughs. .."how did he find this out" Ferroh asked
Ferroh's son answered. .."he pretended to be an underling. ..and gathered and stole some information"
Ferroh laughs an evil laugh. .."then make sure he never shares his information. .." he says
Ferroh's son smiles...as Salamence powers up a flamethrower. ..

Cabella stands..."Staravia...wing attack" she says as she began to lightly glow
Staravia released a loud "Staravia" as it uses wing attack on the cuffs holding Booker releasing him...
"That...Girl..Salamence new target" Ferrohs son called out as the flamethrower is aimed at Cabella but Croconaw uses its water gun to hold it back as he and Cabella are both glowing...even staravia.
The watergun is even with Salamence's attack. ...but Ferrous son orders Salamence to use its full power...and its attack begins pushing back the water gun.

Voss summons Palpitoad to use water pulse to cancel the attacks.
The underling sees Booker going for his pokemon and released a Crawdaunt...to stop him
"JOLTEON...BOLT TACKLE" Cabella says as Jolteon just comes out and attackes Crawdaunt...knocking it out as it is glowing also.

"YOUR THE LINK...YOU CAN TAKE US TO NEBUSTERIA. ..YOUR LINK EVEN ENHANCES YOUR POKEMON" Ferroh laughs
Voss grabs Cabella. .."please ...baby don't let this power consume you" he says pleading

She looks at him with glowing eyes...as she sees him cry...her glow fades...
Ferroh looks at them...Booker grabbed his pokemon
"I don't know who you guys are but thanks" he says besides them.

"You think we'll let her leave here" Ferroh says a all the hunters released their pokemon.
At that moment a draco meteor hit every one of them
Salamence was still standing as garchomp landed and also Claire..."yes they're leaving Ferroh" she says

His son is upset...while Booker looks on..."the great Claire" he says

"I DON'T CARE IF YOU ARE THE CHAMPION CLAIRE...SALAMENCE HYPERBEAM" he orders. .as Salamence powers up the attack it hits Garchomp...but when the smoke clears Garchomp took the attack with no injuries. ..

"Dragon fang" Claire orders as its fangs glow and it bites Salamence. ..knocking it out

Its the first time they seen Salamence lose

Ferroh looks on..."as strong as ever Claire till next time" he says as helicopters come down and take the hunters away

Cabella grasps Voss in a tight hug, and she whispers a repeated apology, the rest of the world suddenly blocked out. She didn't mean to do it. She didn't want to do it. But. . . it did. And Cabella knew she would have to talk with Nebusteria again and tell him that it wasn't okay for that to be happening. Cabella actually saw it as a cheater's way out. To have her pokemon become enhanced in power. That's not the way Cabella would ever want to win a battle. Ever.

(And I will be taking over for Booker in the next post after yours. . . Because I have his appearance and all of his pokemon and everything anyway)

"It's ok Cabella. ..I'm sure Nebusteria was just trying to help...we aren't strong enough to take on Ferroh and his hunters right now..." he says

Claire looks on..."I have to go report my encounter with Ferroh" she says as she looks at Voss

"Mom your after the Aeon Hunters" he says
"Yes I am Voss and so is your uncle steven and other champions" she says
"Stay away from them their dangerous" she says

Cabella moves away from Voss, and steps up to Claire. She tries to make herself taller, and her hands are formed into tight fists. "Ma'am, I'm sorry but I am going to have to say no. We will not stay away from the Aeon Hunters. Well, if Voss wants to, he can. But they have dealt enough damage to us! To many people! And I'm going to make sure they feel every ounce of what they've done to too many people. . . to too many pokemon. . . I will not stand down until I have done what is right. NOT as the damn chosen one or whatever the hell Nebusteria calls it. But as Cabella Rose! Pokemon trainer." She glances over at Voss and lightly smiles. "And girlfriend of the great Voss Vordhees."

Claire laughs. ..she begins to laugh hysterically. ...
"Oh that's the same fire I had when I met Cyrus. ...I loved him and would do anything for him but I had to do what was right. ..and ash Ketchum and his friends wouldn't back down" she says

She summons dragonite as she leaves..."make sure you keep him out of trouble. ..or marry him" she says
Voss is stunned. ..at his moms statement and that she made Claire respect her.

Cabella watches as she leaves, and grins from ear to ear. She then looks over at Voss and gives him a thumbs up. "So, are you with me all the way? Are we going to take down these damn Aeon Hunters!?" She asks. Croconaw is in the same pose as Cabella, giving Voss a thumbs up and grinning.

"Ok but what about Booker...should we just make him go home" he says

Cabella had forgotten all about him. In a way, he seemed to have forgotten about them. He just stands there, holding onto his headphones and humming along to whatever song he has blaring.



"Um. . . I say. . ." Cabella ponders for a moment. "I guess. . . I don't know?" She shrugs, tilting her head.

After a second of realizing he is being stared at, Booker opens his eyes to look at Cabella and Voss. He pulls his headphones down and smiles, "Hey. You guys are pretty cool. I mean, that was some amazing stuff back there. Mind if I tag along? Promise I won't cause any trouble."

Cabella gives a heavy sigh. "What do you think Voss?"

"What reason would you have to go against them"

Booker gives an exaggerated shrug as he responds, "I don't really have a reason to go up against them, I suppose. I just think you guys are my best bet for getting a great story." He chuckles.

"At least he's honest." Cabella sighs.

"Alright so...lets head to the hydraulic island gym...we may be after the hunters but we're also on our own journey. ...you seem to be a trainer what pokemon do you have" he asked

"I'm a trainer. . . but I don't participate in gym battles. Or any battles, really. I do sometimes, I suppose. . ." Booker yawns as he replies to Voss' question. He then pulls out three pokeballs from his bag, and releases his pokemon. A Tyranitar, a Rufflet, and a Vulpix.

"A tyranitar...impressive they aren't easy to train" he says...
"Well off to win another. ..badge right Cabella" he says

Cabella looks at Booker's pokemon. She was actually quite impressed. He could actually be quite usefull. Booker returns his pokemon and Cabella smiles brightly, "This is going to be a great journey!" She laughs, hands on hips. She then throws a fist into the air. "NOW LET'S GO!"

They make it to the gym...and a girl laying in a beach like chair in front of the gym eating a burger...
"Hmmm hey I seen you before. ..but where" he asked

The girl pulls up her sunglasses and squints at them. She then shoves the rest of the burger into her mouth and grins, "HEY! You two are those kids who beat my little love bear~" She giggles, rising from the chair.



"Love. . . bear?" Cabella arches a brow. And its the highest an eyebrow has probably ever risen in the history of rising eyebrows.

"Albion you sillies~" The girl snickers, and holds a hand out. "I'm Azzurra, I've been waiting for you two!" She then looks at Cabella and her grin widens. "Especially you!"

Voss sighes..."great. ..you saw me lose so I'm no threat" he says

"Well I saw ya win, too! But I'm really excited for battling this girl! I like her attitude." Azzurra laughs, playfully punching Cabella. Cabella gives a happy laugh as she rubs her arm.

"GIRL POWER!" Azzurra exclaims, in which Cabella repeats.

"Fine then have ya girl power awesome battle together then..." he says as he sits down waiting for Booker to sit

But, Booker didn't sit beside Voss. Instead, he had joined in, and shouts with Azzurra and Cabella, "GIRL POWER!" And the three of them stand, fist pumping the air as they repeat the chant.

Croconaw gives a roll of his eyes as he sits beside Voss.

After a moment, Booker strides over and sits beside Voss as Cabella and Azzurra stand on opposite sides of the battling field. And the battling field is actually a pool with several floating platforms.

(And I shall start typing up the battle. . . it'll take a bit. . .)

Cabella smirks, as does Azzurra. The glistening pool between them could have been something of intimidation to other trainers who have challenged Azzurra. No. It has been. At the sight of a field being a pool with no more than five floating platforms wading about, there were several trainers who had given up on the spot. Cabella would never. Ever. Do that.

“Ready?” Azzurra grins, pulling out a pokeball.

“Of course!” Cabella laughs, nodding as she does the same.

And at the same time, they release their pokemon. Azzurra calls out, “Start us off great, okay Octillery!?”



As Octillery is released, it lands on one of the platforms, causing the floating mass to tilt from left to right. Yet, the pokemon sticks completely to it – most likely thanks to its suckers.

“We’ve got this Staravia,” Cabella releases her pokemon. Staravia soars up to the top of the gym, and then swoops back down and lands on a platform parallel to Octillery. The pokemon stare each other down, and tense, ready for one or the other the strike.

“Staravia, use Quick Attack,” Cabella calls out.

Staravia does as its told, and charges full speed towards Octillery.

“Octillery, blast this birdie back with a powerful Bubble Beam.” Azzurra commands.

Octillery shoots a blast of glowing bubbles from its mouth, and straight at Staravia.

“Dive.” Cabella says.

On command, Staravia dives straight down into the water, still encased in glowing energy from the Quick Attack. Octillery and Azzurra are both surprised by this. A flying pokemon entering the water like that? What was she thinking?

“And now, Double Team with Aerial Ace!” Cabella shouts.

Suddenly, out from the water bursts a dozen Staravias, all of them covered in streaks of white as they fly behind Octillery. And before they can strike the octopus-like pokemon, Azzurra and called out, “Into the water!” And Octillery barely leaps into the pool on time to dodge the massive Aerial Ace.

Only one Staravia flies back up, and hovers over the pool. Staravia can see Octillery moving in the waters below, and keeps an eye on the opponent. “Star. . .” It says to itself, following Octillery’s movements.

And it’s as though Cabella is seeing through Staravia’s eyes as she says, “Aerial Ace, once more Staravia.” And her pokemon dives straight down into the water, without even a splash.

“Octillery! I need you to use Wring Out!” Azzurra shouts.

The water begins to bubble in a small area of the pool, showing where the two pokemon are. Then, the bubbles come to a stop. And Cabella gasps as Staravia is suddenly tossed out of the water and up into the air. The bird pokemon manages to catch itself in the air, and shakes away the water from its feathers.

“Ravia. . .” Staravia winces. Cabella sees that her pokemon’s left wing must have been hurt by Octillery’s underwater assault.

“You’re doing wonderful Staravia,” Cabella praises her pokemon, smiling.

“Alright Octillery, Gunk Shot in the water and then Aurora Beam~” Azzurra orders.

Staravia could no longer watch or determine where Octillery is in the water, as the water suddenly becomes murky. That also means Staravia can’t determine where the Aurora Beam will come from.

“Just relax Staravia. You’ve got this.” Cabella firmly states, completely calm.

Staravia seems to take in a deep breath as it slows the motion of its own wings. And then, a ray of multicolored ice is shot out of the water and straight towards Staravia. At first, it seemed like the attack would strike. But, at the last second, Staravia dodges the attack. And as the ray keeps moving up towards the ceiling, Cabella shouts, “Wing Attack!”

And Staravia dives down towards the water at full speed, its good wing extended. But, as it moves down, it glides its extended wing through the Aurora Beam. And Staravia’s glowing wing suddenly becomes encased in beautiful ice. . . also causing it to fall even faster. Within a second, Staravia is gone, leaving a sonic boom behind it. Once more, there wasn’t even a splash as it entered the water.

Azzurra and Cabella both stand, watching as the Aurora beam disperses. And then. . . Octillery floats to the surface of the water, unconscious. And Staravia bursts out of the water and towards the ceiling of the gym. “STARAVIA!” It caws, victorious.

“You did wonderful~” Azzurra praises Octillery as she returns her pokemon.

Cabella also returns Staravia, laughing, “You were amazing as always!”

Then, the two pull out their second pokeballs.

Azzurra is the first to release her second pokemon. “You’re up, Lumineon!”



The fish pokemon soars up, and then dives straight into the water.

Cabella is about to release her pokemon, but decides not to. She looks at Croconaw, who grins widely. “Alright, you can go ahead buddy.”

And for once, Cabella was using her strongest pokemon as one of her first. Clearly, Croconaw was very happy about this as it leaps up, flips, and then dives into the water.

“Hm. . . alright then, Lumineon, Whirlpool.” Azzurra commands.

The pool suddenly starts to spin, a large whirlpool forming in the center. And Croconaw can be seen getting sucked into the center. Yet, it looks like Croconaw isn’t even fighting against the current or anything. It’s just. . . letting itself get sucked in.

“You know what to do~” Cabella chimes, spinning in a circle.

Suddenly, Croconaw vanishes. Azzurra blinks, startled. Suddenly, Azzurra watches as the whirlpool stops. . . and then her Lumineon is tossed up and out of the water. The pokemon struggles in the air, and panics as Croconaw suddenly leaps out of the water with jaws wide open.

This is what Croconaw had been waiting for! FISH!

“All yours~” Cabella giggles. “Bite, Croconaw.”

But, just as Croconaw goes to use bite, the attack changes. Elongated fangs made out of ice form in Croconaw’s mouth, and he bites down on Lumineon. Lumineon is suddenly encased in ice, and falls straight down to a platform. Croconaw, disappointed, suddenly blasts downwards with glowing claws, and scratches at the ice as he skids across the platform, and comes to a stop at the edge. The ice breaks away from Lumineon, and the fish pokemon has fainted.

Azzurra is surprised by how quickly things had ended. It was actually almost too fast for her. She didn’t even get a chance to react. She returns Lumineon, and Croconaw returns to Cabella’s side – looking proud.

Azzurra is on her third pokemon. “I’m counting on you Wartortle!” [Wartortle is her strongest pokemon]



“WAR WAR!” Wartortle chants, landing on a platform and punching at the air.

“You’ve got this Pawniard.” Cabella says as she releases her pokemon, and Pawniard also lands on another platform.

“Skull Bash, Wartortle.” Azzurra commands.

Wartortle lunges towards Pawniard, head first.

“Metal Sound,” Cabella calls out. Pawniard does so, sound waves moving towards the lunging Wartortle.

But, Azzurra then says, “Now, Rapid Spin.”

And Wartortle’s attack instantly changes. Wartortle is suddenly within its shell, and spinning at high speeds. It strikes Pawniard square in the face. And Pawniard ends up staggering back and falling into the water. And there was no way a steel pokemon could swim. . .

And Pawniard sinks right down to the bottom of the pool. It tries to move, but it’s movements are way too slow within the water.

Wartortle jumps in after Pawniard just as Azzurra calls out, “Rapid Spin once more!”

And seconds later, Pawniard is sent flying out of the water and at Cabella’s feet, unconscious. She praises her pokemon as she returns it, and then watches as Azzurra returns her Wartortle.

Her fourth pokemon. “Let’s go! Tirtouga!”



Tirtouga lands on the platform just as Cabella releases her Jolteon.

“Right away Jolteon, jump full force onto that platform!” She points at the platform Tirtouga is on. And Jolteon does as it is told. The electric pokemon flips as it is in the air, and then moves down with incredible speed, landing on the platform with enough force to make the half Tirtouga is on the tilt up and shoot the pokemon off.

“Aqua Jet onto another platform Tirtouga.” Azzurra calls out.

And the instant those words left her mouth, she realizes her mistake. And as Tirtouga moves within a jet of water towards another platform, Cabella has already said, “Thundershock.” And a powerful bolt of lightning strikes the water. It streams through and gets Tirtouga. The turtle pokemon cries out as it is fried in mid-air, and ends up falling in the water.

“Now give all you’ve got Jolteon, Thundershock at the pool!” Cabella calls out.

Jolteon does as it is told, and fires a full blast Thundershock at the pool. And the entire pool becomes a light show, even causing the murk from Octillery’s move to disperse. And Tirtouga ends up floating to the surface of the water.

Azzurra returns her pokemon, and Jolteon remains defiant on its platform.

“You’re the last hope Wartortle, let’s do this!” Azzurra shouts as she releases her strongest pokemon once more. Cabella leaves her Jolteon out. Electricity crackles through Jolteon’s fur, and it keeps its head held high.

“Wartortle.” The pokemon snarls, standing on the platform one over from Jolteon.

“Wartortle, we need to be extra careful. You know that.” Azzurra informs her pokemon, receiving a nod in response. Both Azzurra and Wartortle take in a deep breath.

“Alright then, let’s start this off with Rapid Spin.” Azzurra commands.

Wartortle jumps up and then disappears within its shell, and rapidly spins towards Jolteon. Jolteon crouches, getting ready for a command from Cabella.

“Pin Missile.” Cabella says.

The spikes on Jolteon’s back fan out and stand up more, and then needles are suddenly sent out and then move right towards the rotating Wartortle.

“Now use Thundershock on those.” Cabella orders. Jolteon glows, and then fires electricity at all of the needles. And it looks as though the needles are being held by golden thread. And they stay in place around Jolteon, no longer moving on their own, but now under Jolteon’s control. And as Wartortle is about to strike, Jolteon leaps up and flips, and sends several of the electricity encased needles towards the pokemon. But, they bounce right off Wartortle’s shell as it continues to spin on the platform.

“Now’s your chance, Water Pulse,” Azzurra commands.

And with Jolteon in the air still after having dodged, Wartortle pops out of its shell and fires a pulses of water at Jolteon. But, they had fallen straight into the trap. As the needles start to fall, Jolteon catches them with electric strings again, and fires them straight through the rings of water that Wartortle creates. And all of the needles form together and become a giant drill of electricity, which strikes Wartortle.

As Wartortle falls back, Jolteon lands on the platform.

And Azzurra returns her downed pokemon. And the ref gestures to Cabella and announces, “Cabella Rose is the victor!”

Cabella returns her Jolteon and smiles brightly at the pokeball, “You did soooo good for your first battle!” She then looks up to see Azzurra leaping from one platform to the next, and then lands in front of Cabella.

“Congrats~ here’s your badge!” Azzurra says, handing Cabella a badge – which looked like a Wartortle’s shell.

"Congrats cabella. ..that was an awesome win...and you beat her ace with jolteon" he says hugging her

Cabella laughs, nodding. "Yeah, it was a lot of fun!" She smiles brightly. She then glances over to see Azzurra jumping into the pool.

Azzurra calls out, "Stop by tomorrow Voss and we can battle!" And then she disappears into the waters.

Booker walks over to Cabella and gives her a high five. "Nice!" He smiles, his music audible due to the headphones being around his neck.

"Of course. ..I plan to have a better record then cabella" he joked as they walked out

Cabella looks at Voss and arches a brow. She folds her arms over chest as she wonders aloud, "And how exactly do you plan on doing that?" She smiles. "I mean, I'm up for the challenge~" She smirks.
