Yashiro wakes up... "Ahh damn Mugen...i've had enough... ahh he's still drunk" he says
Yashiro walks off... "Drunk or not he's more then capable of handling her... i'll be waiting if you guys need medical attention i'll be waiting at the town gate" he says walking off bo staff in his hand... but breaks it apart and puts it at his side....
Masanori watches Yashiro walk off and frowns, and then pulls out his blade. “D’aww. His is bigger than mine.”
The woman practically snaps, and she sheathes her blade. “SERIOUSLY!? I-I’m done with this! I’ve been chasing that damn man around the village, tracked you guys down. . . FOR FISH! I mean, at first it seemed like a great idea, but now. . . now this IDIOT is just. HE’S FREAKIN ANNOYING! I’ve had enough.”
“Yeah. That should have given you another reason to kill him.” Yasu murmurs.
“Girl. I actually feel sorry for you.” She says to Yasu, shaking her head. “I wish you good luck.”
“Thanks.” Yasu sighs.
With that, the woman is on her way.
“Bye big fluffy pillows!” Masanori waves to her.
“SHUT IT!” Yasu barks at Masanori as she grabs him by the ear and drags him away.
The entire way to the gates, Yasu had slapped Masanori at least a dozen times due to the things he had been saying. She was furious and exhausted by the time they get to Yashiro.
And as Masanori watches the little boy dash away, he laughs, “How cute. He’s like a little. . . a little thief or something. Or maybe I’m thinking of a cumquat. Now that’s a funny fruit name. Do you know what’s in the word cumquat? I’ll tell ya-"
But before Masanori could complete his sentence, Yasu had batted him in the back of the head with her gun, and he ends up falling face first into the ground.
“You wanna carry him or should I?” Yasu asks Yashiro.
"He's just a little drunk .. it will leave his system.. either he can sweat it out.. or urinate... or vomit...hmmm here" hes says giving Masanori some Ipecac.. to induce vomiting..."he should throw up in about 10 minutes.. and be sober in like 30...unless you wanna make him drink lots of water and help him.. umm urinate" he says
“Ewwwww.” Yasu scrunches her nose. “How about you take care of him. And plus. . . he keeps saying stuff to me. . .” Her face shades a heavy red. "Just please no throwing up. I hate vomit." She gags, her face contorting into an expression of disgust.
Masanori rubs the back of his head as he clambers back up to his feet. “Hey you guys, I can be the leader.” He grins as he starts on his way out of the village. Whilst walking, he starts to sing.
“Uh yeah. Do what you think would help the quickest.” Yasu tells Yashiro as she watches Masanori fall to the ground.
“I feel like. . . a turtle!” Masanori calls out. “Help! I’ve fallen and I can’t get up!”
“Or can we just leave him?” Yasu asks Yashiro with a smile. “I mean, we could go slay all those infected on our own.”
Yasu refused to be anywhere near Masanori as they had left the village. She walks ahead of them, just waiting for it to happen. Dreading every passing second.
“Hey Yasu. You’re so. . . so cute.” Masanori chuckles. “I could just kiss ya.”
“That’s not him talking. That’s not him talking. That’s not him talking.” Yasu repeatedly tells herself as he picks up the pace.
They start their way across a bridge, when Masanori lets out a groan. “I don’t feel so. . . happy.”
Yasu speeds over to Masanori and chucks him over the side of the bridge. She hears the splash as he hits the water, and looks over the side of the bridge to watch him sink under the surface. But at least the current wasn’t strong enough to carry him away.
After a minute, Masanori floats up to the surface, and Yasu looks over at Yashiro. “You can get him.” She gestures as she continues on her way, crossing the bridge.
Yashiro had been right, as they walk past the river bank, there was Masanori curled up in a ball and groaning – in both pain and discomfort. Eyes sealed shut and face pale, he whines, “I feel like I just died inside.”
With a sigh, Yasu picks Masanori off the ground and sets him on his feet. She then begins to lead the way, with a zombie-like Masanori trailing several steps behind.
Yasu glances over at Yashiro and asks, “So why exactly are you traveling with us?”
"Ahhh I made a promise to Masanori ...he told me your goal after I patched him up and I thought you guys could use a doctor ...I travel anyway and know some martial arts" he says
Yasu looks at Yashiro for a minute before gazing ahead and nodding. “Alright. But just so ya know, I’m the only one allowed to beat up that man’s ass.” She points back at Masanori.
She then lets out a quiet laugh and shakes her head before continuing. “So, I take it you’ve had your own fair share of those damn Parasyte monsters?” She asks Yashiro.
"I'm not looking to beat up Masanori....but yea one killed my little brother when we were part of....shogun diayamo's faction....it was awful but after I avenged his death I gave up on the blade and devoted myself to healing....I was a good fighter better now I think but I'm eons away from being in Masanori's league"
Yasu just gives a single shrug. “Masanori’s good. But he’s a big idiot.” She then laughs, “And you haven’t even see him fight or anything yet. Just wait, your thoughts will most likely change once you see him in action. I mean, I haven’t even seen him use his katana. Well. . . once. . .” Her voice drifts as the scene replays before her eyes.
Yasu was 12 years old, and frightened to death. And death was definitely something she’d be feeling soon enough. Her father nears her, his wild red eyes drilling into her very soul. He wields a bloodied blade, stained with the red of its previous victim – Yasu’s mother. Lightning flashes, filling the entirety of their home. The shadows settle once more, just as he holds the blade over his head, and then swings down. Cowering on the floor, Yasu screams, hearing the blade slice through the air. . . and. . . nothing. She didn’t feel pain. She didn’t feel the darkness creep over her. Instead, Yasu opens her eyes just as another bolt strikes down, lighting up the space. And what Yasu sees is something both horrifying and breathtaking. A boy standing in front of her, holding a katana, its blade piercing through her father’s heart. . .
She blinks away the image and takes in a sharp breath. Yasu gives a pained laugh, her attention drifting pack to stare at Masanori for a moment. With a deep inhalation, Yasu looks ahead once more and states, “I guess I’ve always talked to Masanori about myself. . . but he’s never spoken a word about himself. . . for all I know he still has an entire family, and here I’ve dragged him into this mess.”
Yasu's steps become more dragged out the farther they travel forward. It was as though the atmosphere was starting to close in on them, giving the air an almost suffocating quality. A lump forms in Yasu’s throat, and she swallows it down. She could feel her stomach churn with every move towards the gate.
Yet, she seemed to be the only one affected.
Masanori’s movements and expression remain the same as they previously had - both giving off the sense of him not feeling very well. Yasu wasn’t going to get upset towards him though, well not completely. She was still angry at Masanori to have been drinking in the first place. . .
As they enter the beautiful and scenic village, the world seemed to return to normal, and Yasu inhales deeply as the pressure disperses, enabling her to once more freely move.
Though the thoughts had ebbed, they still remain within the corners of her mind.
Yashiro grips his forehead as they enter the village feeling the relief... he feels his skull slightly move along the fracture that he got when he and his brother had fought the infected criminal.
He doesn't let this be seen as his right eye becomes bloodshot red as he remembers but he quickly shakes his head trying to forget but he can't help but remember as his body burns up slightly, he is frozen for what seems like forever but its only a couple of seconds ...a minute at the most as the sweat goes from his forehead to his brow and then his chin
Memory:
"Hey big brother.. we can handle him.. we are the two best samurai's that Shogun Diamyo has" the wirey young samurai says. Yashiro at the time was not as muscular he was also wirey but clearly bulkier then his little brother.
"Be on your guard ...you never know what could happen" he says as they stalk and track their enemy
Yashiro's little brother seems carefree as he prepares to go in for the attack but his hand is shaking.. he never initiated a assault...Yashiro always did and the adrenaline gets to him then he joins in usually..."What...wa...what if i fail....he has a high bounty on him... i...i could die" masataka says worried
Yashiro grabs his little brothers arm steadying it also looking into his eyes with reassurance ...as masatake looks at him... both wearing jet black Gi....and their blades at their waist they are in the tree's stalking a man named Koda.....
"Don't worry Masataka... I...PROMISE....EVERYTHING WILL BE OK...I WON'T LET YOU DIE" he says
Masataka still looks worried but he unsheathes his blade the moonlight behind him and the light just dances on the blade as he watches without blinking
Once the sword with removed there is a flash snapping Yashiro out the memory... "Huh...ugh...ummm Masanori...drink some tea.. to settle your stomach... you'll be fine man just no more drinking" he says walking to him and giving him some tea he carried around... "I would have given you some earlier but i thought with your physiology you wouldn't get drunk... good to know your still human" he says when they were a earshot away from Yasu so she didn't hear him.
But Yashiro see's something up with Yasu..."She feels like something is wrong... i can tell the moment we approached this village...the look in her eyes...she seems to be very intuitive... and has a nice rack" he says and he panics catching what he said..."Ahhh i mean...she has a well built body very curvey... no... i mean...gahhhh!!" he says waving his arms in nervous frustration
Masanori had finished drinking the tea, and was already feeling better. Yet, that was cut short as Yashiro picked the wrong choice of words to speak to Masanori. His eyes narrow and his brows furrow as he crushes the cup that had once contained the tea, and he drops the pieces. Masanori’s eyes open just the slightest as he hisses under his breath, but loud enough for Yashiro to hear: “Do not ever talk about Yasu in such a way. If you wish to compliment her, then say something along the lines of her being a beautiful woman.”
He then snaps his head forward and closes his eyes, his visage returning to normal, a short smile on his face. But, his aura was still quivering with malice.
Yasu glances back at the two, and gives a quick roll of her eyes. Whatever they were talking about was probably something incredibly stupid, as usual.
She is still trying to fully push away the idea. This place was so calm and awe-inspiring. Even the citizens that walked about seemed kind-hearted, giving welcoming smiles to them as well as “Good evenings” and the occasional “How do you do?” Even their attire was of a more formal manor, the women and men wearing intricately designed kimonos. Their conservative appearances gave a strange comfort.
Yasu gazes up at the sky for a moment, her eyes flickering in awe at the sight whilst her mouth partially opens.
The sun is beginning to set, an orb of disappearing golden set upon a multicolored canvas. Hues of oranges, pinks and blues filter the atmosphere in a way that Yasu finds to be spectacular. And the unique buildings that compose the village only seemed to amplify the remarkable moment.
Masanori sees that Yasu has come to a stop, and steps up beside her. Her expression is one that brings a smile to his face. He then glimpses over and up, his own attention locking onto the sky.
“Glorious.” He exhales, whipping out his fan.
“Yeah.” Yasu grins at Masanori.
After a minute of silence, Masanori says, “I believe we should find a place to stay. What are your thoughts Yashiro?”
Yasu was about to say something, but keeps quiet. That feeling. . . it wasn’t going away. But, she was probably just over exaggerating the thoughts to herself.
Taking note of Yasu’s sudden change in demeanor, Masanori takes hold of her hand.
Instantly, she relaxes.
And she knows that there should be nothing to worry about.
"Shall we rest in this town the nearest town is a long way about a day and a half walk we should get some sleep" he says eyeing everyone that passed they were probably wondering why he was shirtless as there was a chill in the night air
This was a ominous chill some would say a omen but Yashiro just gazed back at them....and blushed when pretty women noticed him.....he walked up to a group of women..."might any of you be able to tell a traveling doctor and his friends where the inn of this village is" he says
The girls giggle and swoon....Yashiro smiles ....
(Girl) "that samurai is so cute we'll show you where it is" one says causing Yashiro to faceplant into the ground leaving a smoking crater.. ."Always Masanori" he says as the girls escort them
Masanori watched as the girls nudged Yasu back towards Yashiro, and took her spot by him. Yet, he remained completely oblivious to the affect he had on them as he starts up a conversation with each one.
“If you see all of the women in this village dead tomorrow. . . you know why.” Yasu hisses at Yashiro, as she folds her arms over her chest and glares whilst their annoying little giggles fill her ears.
As the girls come to a stop at an inn, they each give Masanori a peck on the cheek, and then rush away. He is dumbfounded by this, and blinks once before turning and walking into the building. The powerful aroma of lavender seemed to attack Yasu's nose, and she smiles. It was a scent that wasn't common, so she gladly welcomed it.
Yasu decides to pay for a room, and she looks at Yashiro and says, “You can stay with us if you want. So you don’t have to be a loner.”
She then mumbles, “And so you can hold me back from murdering Masanori in his sleep.”
“I was thinking we could all talk anyway~” Masanori chimes as he puts his fan away, and then rushes to the room, avoiding another glare from Yasu.
"Ummm ok...." he says dumbfounded....he hasn't been around people unless he was treating the injured not since he lost masataka....."well then....I'll take the floor and pay for the room" he says as he hands the inn keeper the payment....
"Such weird people ...they seem to want to get to. Know me" he thinks
Masanori had gotten the room organized for them, placing a candle in the center and the floor mats around the flame. Yasu arches a brow, looking at Masanori in surprise. She has never seen him like this. Then again, Yasu always felt like she was the only person Masanori ever talks to. So maybe having Yashiro in the group was better than Yasu originally thought.
She sits down on her mat and Masanori does the same. He then gestures to the third mat for Yashiro, his smile brightening and the whiteness of his teeth intensifying with the candle’s flickering fire.
“So what exactly did you want to talk about?” Yasu asks Masanori as she leans forward slightly and then throws herself back to sprawl out on the mat. “Yashiro already told me about how his brother was killed by an infected.”
“D’aww. I missed out.” Masanori complains and then chuckles. “Alright. Well. Yashiro, is there anything you would like to know about one of us or both?”
(Yea i had to rush and post got busy mid way had to post something)
"Umm... yes...uhh Masanori where did you learn you sword technique...i haven't seen you fight but you don't seem like a orthodox samurai" he asks looking away ... he wasn't use to keeping up conversations.. and when Yasu mentioned his brother he went to continue the flash back but he forced himself out of it....
He began burning up and sweating but he looks at Masanori waiting for a answer as he sat on him makeshift bed on the floor back against the wall... hands lunged over his knees which were raised ... .. He wondered a lot about Masanori... he knew infected were human or acted human before the parasyte activated but Masanori Parasyte seems active yet he seems human all the time... he wanted to know the mystery behind him.
"Also what made you two decide to take on the Parasytes and try to destroy them" he asks
(Eh. You could have just left it. That's what I do, and then I just come back and post whenever I have the time)
-漫~*’¨¯¨’*舞*’¨¯¨’*~漫-
Masanori scratches the back of his head at this question, contemplating on how he should respond. After a moment of silence, and Yasu’s impending impatience, Masanori replies with a grin, “A long long time ago”-
Yasu cuts him off, holding her hand up as she hisses. “Don’t start with that crap again Masanori. Yashiro wants a real answer, and for once I would, too.”
He has never once given an actual answer, to any of Yasu’s questions. They were always some whimsical tale that included overdramatic actions to go along – as though Masanori was performing for a crowd. His acting skills were of a higher caliber, she would give him that much. But, nonetheless, it was infuriating when he avoided her questions.
“Well?” Yasu arches a brow as she sits up, to look directly at Masanori. His eyes are shut, so she couldn’t tell what his current thoughts are. But an uneasy air suddenly came about him, and she frowns.
“Maybe you should pick a different question?” Yasu begins to say, but Masanori says: “No, it’s fine.”
Yasu settles back into her own skin and sighs.
“It was my father who first taught me. . .” Masanori says, his voice nearly a whisper. Yasu’s eyes widen just the slightest at this. Masanori has never mentioned his dad before. When she actually thought about it, he has never mentioned any family.
There was a pain in Masanori’s voice, something that caused Yasu’s heart to drop in her chest. It seemed to sink to her lungs, making breathing a difficult task. He continues, “I was very young when I first wielded a sword, it felt natural to me. It came naturally to me. . . and my father saw that. . .”
The flame causes the shadows to dance on Masanori’s face, and they seemed to ward away the mask of the care-free Masanori, revealing a new agonizing expression. It was something foreign to Yasu.
And she didn’t like it.
Yasu decides to speak up and says, “I was the one who decided on this whole journey thing to destroy the infected. I more or less begged Masanori to do it at first, and then decided to tag along. Can’t let the idiot carry the burden by himself.” She chuckles, trying to lighten up the tensing mood.
Yashiro chuckles..."Nice segway Yasu...you must have never seen the real him" he says bumping his head against the wall lightly...
"He acts so carefree but he's probably the most tormented" Yashiro states standing up..."Well Yasu what made you wanna do this journey... what qualifies you to take on these supernatural opponents... they are hard to kill... my entire life only came across one in combat...and only killed one" he says
He decided to take a page out of Masanori's book and be real for a moment himself...but he goes in his bag and grabs some Pineapple slices...and offers some the Masanori and Yasu....waiting for Yasu's answers
The two of them take the fruit, each one giving Yashiro a thanks. Yasu was glad to see Masanori back to smiling. More than glad. Though, he had never responded to what Yashiro said about being tormented.
“My dad was infected when I was 12 years old.” Yasu begins, stretching slightly as she speaks. She then pops a slice of pineapple into her mouth. “He killed my mother, right before my eyes. Cut her right in half.” She gnaws on her lower lip and then glances over at Masanori. “And right before he could get to me. . . Masanori showed up. It was terrifying. Watching someone you love get killed is never going to be easy.”
Her attention wanders over to Yashiro. “You understand. . .” She lightly smiles, and then continues with her story: “There was a flash of lightning, and time just seemed to freeze. I thought I was dead. I should have been dead. I wasn’t, though. Because what I saw, was Masanori standing right in front of me. I couldn’t see his face, only his back. But I still wonder what his expression was that night, as he stood with a blade through my father’s heart.”
“Yet. Masanori seemed so young. . . and he was. . . and it only makes me wonder even more as to how long he has been doing this. . . killing these infected. How many has he killed? Because he knew what to do. Where to strike. It was an instant kill. . . And it was breathtaking in its own way.” Yasu exhales, closing her eyes for a moment as the scene flashes within her mind. It swirls away, disappearing as quickly as it had arrived.
“And I guess it’s just time for someone to step up and do something. Too many innocent lives are being killed. These monsters have dealt enough damage. It’s time for them to die.” Yasu firmly states, her hands balling into tight fists as her brows knit together. “Right Masanori?”
When she glances over at him, he is curled up on the mat, lightly snoring.
"Yea i bet he does... there are places to strike to kill a infected instantly ..but being capable of doing it is another matter" Yashiro says as he sits back down but this time in front of Yasu.
"The heart... your pierce it or destroy it and the infected is no more... but with their strength and defenses so much higher then normal most blades break across their chests... trust me i know...Masanori must have some blade forged to do this job... my blade broke when i tried to kill one.. and worse yet his speed made him react to my second strike and he broke my blade like a twig......" he says looking down...."Sometimes i wonder that if i was strong enough to complete that strike then Masataka would still be alive....." he says tears forming but immediately evaporating due to his body
"The infected that killed my brother fractured my skull causing my Narcolepsy....but i had to avenge Masataka" he says as he tell her about what happened
(Flashback)
Masataka's blade whistled in the wind as it was unsheathed but at that the the prey's ears perked up...as Masataka came down with a swift swing silent but the man had turned and blocked the blade... there was shock and disbelief on Masataka's face..."WHAT!!" he says
Yashiro looks on..."impossible... that was perfect silence..." he thinks as he rushes out to back up Masataka
(Man) "I am a demon boy.. your shogun should have sent a army" he says as he grips Masataka's neck and gets ready to stab him but Yashiro runs up Masataka's back and does a front flip with his heel coming down on the top of Yaburo's head... causing him to crash into the ground and let Masataka go....
"Thanks big brother" he says gasping for air....
"No time.. to dilly dally.. i made a promise ..come on lets finish this guy" he says as Yaburo stands his eyes seem red but the two continue the assault under the moonlight sparks fly. This man was taking on both swordsman of great skill with ease.. no... with inhuman skill.
He seemed to always be a step ahead...he punches Yashiro in the face sending him back a couple of yards..."GAAAHH!!... such power" he says as Masataka goes in and the two clash weapons.... Yashiro gathers his strength.. and then runs off..."Hold him off Masataka" he thinks as he runs up into a tree into the shadows.....
"Your out your league boy" Yaburo says as they fights....
Yashiro waits.. and waits.. until he see's a opening... and throws a Kunai catching Yaburo in the eye..."AAAHHHH!!!!!" he screams in pain as Masataka see's the opening he slices his neck in one swift motion leaving blood gushing all over Masataka as the man falls.
Yashiro smiles...they did it... Masataka drops his guard down..."WHOOO!!!" he says turning around as he knew it was because a Yashiro he got his first kill for the Shogun but Yashiro's eyes widen...and he screams..."MAAASSSAATTAAAKAAAAAA!!!" as he drops out the tree's and runs forward. Time freezes at Masataka turns around in slow motion to see some....thing before him not what he just killed... its eyes a evil red and fangs in a sick smile
