Pokemon: The Ongaku Region

Cabella manages to fall asleep. She was actually quite comfortable. Then again, it was rare for Cabella to ever feel awkward or anything. She lightly snores as she dreams of battling. In her dream she had managed to beat the champion of the Ongaku Region. And in her dream she had gripped her Totodile in a tight hug and kissed him on the forehead. And in reality, she does the same to Voss.

Voss wakes up in the morning with Nurse Joy staring at him.
"Please Voss I hope you two were safe, but this kind of action is not permitted here in the pokemon center" she says as kindly as a nurse joy could say.

Voss jumps out of the bed..."SORRY, sorry, sorry nurse joy this is just because my friend couldn't sleep and she asked to sleep in my room and nothing happened" he says
She takes a look at Cabella as seeing what she had on..."Yes I...uhhh believe you" she says but it was clear that she didn't
Voss was on the other side of the room putting on his clothes as fast as he could

Cabella slowly wakes up, and rubs the sleep away from her eyes before yawning. She gets out of the bed and stretches, and then glances over to see Nurse Joy in the room. “Oh. Hey. Morning.” Cabella laughs, scratching the back of her head. “This really doesn’t look like what you think.” Cabella looks away, and then scurries into the bathroom. She grabs her bag and then dashes out of the room, and to her room.

Totodile greets Cabella, bounding off the bed and into her arms. She laughs as she hugs her pokemon, and then sets Totodile down. Cabella gets dressed, gathers everything, and then heads down to the main area of the Pokemon Center. Starly flies up to her, and drops its pokeball into her hand. “Glad to see you’re all fixed up!” Cabella smiles brightly at Starly. “Now we just have to wait for Voss and then we can get going to the gym!”

“Toto!” Totodile jumps up and down, excited. Starly flaps its wings in quick motions.

Voss comes down to the main are of the pokemon Center.
"Hey...Cabella ... how was your night are you ready to go to Don Georges Gym" he says
As he seems upset, apparently Nurse Joy had to inform Cabella's mom about what happened and she wasn't too thrilled she ended up in bed with Voss

"AYE Cabella your mother will be the death of me" he says

“I slept perfectly! And don't worry, my mom is all bark and no bite.” Cabella beams at Voss as she returns her Starly. “And why do we have to head to that gym? Can’t we just go to the main gym!? The one where I can get my first gym badge from the awesome bug leader!?” She complains, her face dropping. Totodile looks at Cabella and shakes its head. She had forgotten that they needed to get some more practice in first. She was ready to go, though!

“Alright alright. Let’s head on over there then first.” Cabella releases a heavy sigh.

"I know your anxious, if you want I can meet you at the gym but im going to go to Don Georges Gym first its right before this bug leaders gym maybe you can tell me all about it after you win" he says to her as he grabs his backpack and heads for the door

Cabella looks at Totodile, who gestures for her to follow Voss. With another heavy sigh, Cabella does so, and she is at Voss’ side. “Alright, let’s go to this other gym first and kick butt there. And THEN we head over to battle the gym leader!” She states. Totodile laughs before once more jumping onto Cabella’s back.

Voss smiled. .."then off we go" he says heading to don George's gym

They arrived really fast it was really close.
"Are you ready?" Voss asked at the entrance

"Of course I'm ready!" Cabella grins at Voss. Totodile bounds off her back and jumps up and down, chanting its name. It's clear that they are both excited. This would be their first true battle.

As they head in they are immediately separated into two sides of the gym...
Don Georges comes to Voss ...."Hahaha wasn't expecting that were ya kid...hahaha" he says laughing

Voss is surprised..."WHERE IS CABELLA" he asks loudly...
"Don't worry she's on side B of the training gym... we don't allow more then one trainer at a side at a time so your a Side A challenger and she's a Side B challenger ... there are 3 Levels of trainers then you fight the current champion of your side A or B... then the two from each side advance and face each other in the fifth round.... and each stage works on a different attribute for your pokemon... speed, strength, endurance, Attack and Defense" he says.
Voss begins to understand as he is on side A and waits to battle the trainer... he see's a guy with long hair ... possibly a rocker....
"Hey im blitz.... and im moving forward... so lets do this.. MAGNETON" he says throwing out his pokeball.
Voss smiles... "Ok... we'll see about that" Voss says choosing a pokemon ready to battle.



An assistant explained everything to Cabella....
The trainer waiting for her was Marisol... they were in a water arena
Marisol smiled..."OOOH I HAVE THE BEST LUCK....come on out GARY" she says as her pokemon is revealed.

Cabella giggles under her breath. The name of the Pokemon was ridiculous. She looks at the Gyrados that was so oddly named Gary, and shakes her head. Taking in a deep breath, Cabella pulls out a pokeball and calls out, "Alright Starly, let's let you start us off!" Starly bursts from its pokeball and swoops up into the air and then dives down, doing a complete flip.

Marisol smiles...."Really a flying type against my Gary...and are you laughing at my Gary's name for your information he's named after my future husband Gary Oak...." she says getting upset....
"GARY...use aqua jet" she says as the gyrados jets out the water with extreme speed covered in water aimed at starly

"Alright Starly, I know you're faster!" Cabella calls out, and Totodile jumps up and down in agreement. Starly twirls to the side while in the air, avoiding the attack. Cabella then adds: "Double Team!" And on command, multiple Starlies appear and all surround Gyrados.

Gyrados doesn't know which one is real....as it makes its way back to the water...."GARY...use watergun on each of them till you hit the real one" she says as Gyrados fires a watergun at each one

"Now's your chance, Quick Attack!" Cabella calls out. As Gyrados was busy striking one half of the Starly, the real is instantly away from the rest and glowing with white energy. Starly strikes Gyrados and then quickly moves dives up and away on Cabella's command.

Gary dropped from the surprise quick attack and hit its head against a pillar knocking it out....
The ref. comes in the middle ... "THE WINNER IS CABELLA ROSE...she advances" he says

Marisol is shocked..."WHAT...NO GARY YOU CAN'T LOSE TO THAT LITTLE BIRD...RETURN" she says upset as Cabella's platform moves forward...
(Could do a little skip to them facing the champions of side A and B before they move on)

After a couple of battles... Voss makes it to the champions room.
Pokémon get healed after each battle and get time to train for about an hour before they move forward.

Voss arrives at the next level.... it was a two on two battles now...
Voss see's the opponent before him.... and is surprised...."Your...Keegan" he says
Keagan smiles a winning smile..."Why yes I am... lets have a good battle" he says readying a pokeball.
Voss smiles..."OK go duskull" he says... as duskull emerges...."What are you doing here anyway...?" voss asked
Keagan looks at duskull..."Ok lets make this a ghost battle then...GO GASTLY!" he says as his ghost pokemon emerges..."I just beat the cocoon city gym leader thought this would be a great way to see if I improved" he says.
"Ok...well your going to lose now" he says as the pokemon battle...
"Duskull use Nightshade" Voss says
"Gastly quick confuse ray" he says as duskull is hit... then confused and Keagan smiles..."Its over Gastly use your nightshade" he says as the attack strikes Duskull and he fall

Keagan calls back gastly... and Voss calls back Duskull.... "GO" they both say as Elekid comes out for Voss and Treecko for Keagan.
This is a short battle as treecko comes out on top in the end as treecko used wrap then pound to knock out Elekid.
Voss is surprised..."wow ...your good it was a tough battle but say hi to Cabella for me im sure she's on the next side waiting to see who her opponent is..." he says as they meet in the middle to shake hands.
Keagan smile turns into a worry face..."CABELLA!!! AHHHH .... how about I see her another time...she just gets so frantic wanting to beat me and that was a tough battle I almost lost... so you just...take my spot gotta go" he says pushing Voss onto his platform as it moved up to the fifth floor...."WHAAA...WAIT KEAGAN!!!" he screams as Keagan waves as he leaves the gym.
Voss is now on the fifth floor waiting for his opponent

(Keegan has a Treecko. Not a Snivy.)

Cabella is humming to herself, dancing around on her platform with Totodile. She had beaten the champion on her side. It was actually quite easy, considering the champion had been a fire-type trainer. Doing a quick twirl while hugging Totodile, Cabella tosses her pokemon into the air as the platform moves. She catches Totodile just as it comes to a halt, and puts on a serious expression. But, that instantly changes at the sight of Voss.

"What the hell!? I was told by another trainer that some strong kid with a Treecko is here!!! AND I KNOW THAT IS KEEGAN!" Cabella shouts, waving a fist in the air. She then freezes and falls silent for a second, and then screams, "DID YOU BEAT HIM!?" It's clear that she was quite upset.

Voss smiles..."Uhh no... I lost actually but it was a mix up...he just beat the gym leader in Cocoon city ... and didn't want to deal with your frantic attitude to beat him so he pushed me onto his platform...but he look on the bright side beat the Cocoon city leady and you two should be at the same level... so lets just leave here and go im sure you improved hopefully learned some new attacks" he says as he is sorry to disappoint her

Cabella puffs out her cheeks, brows knitted together as she pulls out a pokeball. She releases Starly, and then states, “I came here and fought hard so I could confront a real challenge. Sure, I wanted it to be Keegan, but seeing as you were the idiot you let him get away, we’re battling!” She hisses.

Her phone suddenly goes off. Cabella is quick to answer, and gives a heavy sigh. "No mom. I'm in the middle of a battle with Voss right now."

"IF BATTLE IS SOME LITTLE CODE WORD FOR SEX THEN I AM BEATING THE BOTH OF YOU WHEN YOU GET BACK HERE!" Her mother roars. Cabella has to hold the phone away from her ear as her mother continues to rant. After a second, Cabella just hangs up, clears her throat and looks at Voss.

"So what do you say!?" She shouts. "Are we doing this or not!?" Starly flaps its wings, ready.

Voss sighs.... "Come on out...ELEKID" he says as he tosses the pokeball...."Ok elekid you ready" he says
Elekid charges its body... showing its ready..."How about a wager... if I win we go straight to the gym and you don't mention a word about Keegan the whole way there" he says

Cabella mutters something to herself, sighs, and then looks at Voss and nods. "Deal!" She huffs, folding her arms over her chest. She then throws one arm out as she calls out, "Alright Starly, start us off with Double Team!"

"Smart move...Elekid lets show her we're no amateurs.. use shockwave" he says
As shockwave moves in one path striking all of the starly's slowly...
"Watch closely Elekid focus...." he says as elekid keeps its mind sharp

"We're not stupid, either." Cabella states, "Starly, Double Team, again!" And as she says this, more Starly appear, replacing the ones that were being destroyed. "Now focus Starly!" Cabella grins. "And Wing Attack!" Starly remains still for a moment, as do the new Starlies. And as Starly suddenly charges towards Elekid with glowing wings, so do three of the "clones".

Elekid..... braces itself..."NOW USE THUNDERSHOCK AND HOLD IT" he says
Elekid uses thundershock but keeps its body surrounded in the electrical attack... so contact with him will harm the real body also

"Starly, evade with Quick Attack!" Cabella calls out. The real Starly pulls its wings in as its entire body suddenly glows white. Starly dives past Elekid, while the others ram into. But, as Cabella watches Starly hover in the air again, she can see a portion of its side injured and crackling with electricity, also causing a difficult time with flying. She had barely allowed Starly to avoid major damage.

Elekid notices..."Great job... now release the thundershock at the real starly" he says as the thundershock directs its way towards the real starly
