For me, my whole brain goes into structoral collapse:

OMG What if she doesn't like me?
What if I blush and she doesn't like me and gets pissed?
What if I screw up?
What if she is taken?

What do I do if she starts flirting more then I can handle?
What if the girls I like never like me back?

Dude don't worry about that too much, a girl may look calm on the outside but she's probably going through the same motions. Girls are designed to exhibit a sense of calm even in tense situations, hardwired that way(at least that's my theory)
