I've always failed at poetry. It's seriously just this blank section in my head. But, my friends said I should start giving it a shot. . .

~Inumane~

Husk of what used to be

Soulless creature who beckoned inhumanity

Distressed outcry spews from unbolted maw

Troubled soul trembles inside disturbed body

Restless mind takes insurmountable damage

Dropping to knees and grasping head with unforgiving hands

Onyx eyes are endless pits of anguish

Skin pales to become a sickly hue

Mentally unsure of what had occured

The murderer begs the universe for forgiveness

-WAR-

Comprehending everything is an impossible task

All of the tragic happenings

All of the wretched surroundings

All of the horrid sights and sounds

Even my very own thoughts

Oh how heart-wrenchingly clear each and every gruesome image replays through my feeble mind!

Memories are nothing more than a curse

Reality melts into what one would only think possible while unconscious

Walking through a nightmare that is all too real

Feeling every ounce of pain from this twisted dream

It's a monster!

It's a disease!

There is only one escape

If death doesn't snatch my very being from the world's grasp

Pure insanity shall. . .
