Name: Grady Law



Special traits - Pair of twin skates called Kuro and Karasu... similar to beelzebub skates allow him to glide on air and move at faster speeds when used.... mainly used for transportation.
History: New to the academy he was sought out by lord death himself ... some students think its just a rumor but it is true....

~JOIN HIM ON HIS JOURNEY~

Music is playing as a boy wakes up with headphones rocking in his ears.....
He has the music loud as he is half walking and dancing in his room.
He goes into the bathroom and showers while he has the toothbrush in his mouth.
He is washing his hair and face as he blindly reached for toothpaste.
He squeezes the tube and a glob shoots up in the air and he opens up his mouth and catches it as he brushed his teeth.

When done he looks at the time and didn't want to be late....
"Late on transfer day typical..." he says jumping out the window
As he quickly puts on his skates..."come on Kuro Karasu" he says as he suddenly begins gliding through the air.

Meanwhile maka is walking with soul books clutched in her hand.... soul was walking to seeing blackstar and tsubaki by the doorway tsubaki of course trying to talk to her meister about being on time.
(Blackstar)"the strongest meister waits for his friend" he says as soul runs up faster passing maka to give blackstar a high 5.
(Soul)"yo star how's it going" he says as the two talk.

Maka walks and stops by tsubaki..."slackers the both of them" she says and tsubaki hangs her head.
As they talk maka senses something. ... (soul)"hmmm what is it Maka?" he asked. ..then he noticed something coming at them from the sky....and fast (soul)"WATCH OUT! " he called out pushing Maka and Tsubaki out the way.. and turning his arm into a scyth blades and as the figure lands it ducks under soul missing the blade...blackstar goes for a sweep kick but the figure backflips over him from that low position just evading soul.
It is Grady...."my apologies" he says as they look at the unknown boy as he walked inside

Blackstar is stunned looking back from his position as Maka is on the floor and souls blade arm is out.
The boy walks back through the doors and sees maka...
(Grady)"I didn't notice you on the ground ....just realized I was the cause of that" he says gripping her hand and pulling her up and the first thing she noticed is his arm strength. ..

Blackstar lashes out.."ARE YOU CRAZY COMING DOWN LIKE THAT" he began to shout while tsubaki and soul hold him back and grady is surprised really.
But what they were all wondering was how was a new student able to move like that....and flying skates very similar to kid's beelzebub skateboard.
Maka is taken back a bit...while Grady is looking at Blackstar throw a fit...and soul noticed her intense stare except that it wasn't a stare of admiration it was curiosity.
Grady pulled back his headphones and then faces Maka..."I'm Grady Law" he says as he shakes her hand....he turned to tsubaki..."I'm guessing he's your partner" he says referencing blackstar who finally calmed down.

Tsubaki nervously giggles in embarrassment but nods "yes he is" she says.
Soul walks over... (soul)"new student huh nice skates...I'm" he began to say
But Grady interrupts "I know who you are Soul Evans you almost became a deathscythe correct" he said
Soul nodded "yea how'd you know about that? " he asked
(Grady)"I did my research on top students here and heard people talking about it in the halls...just like I know she is Maka Albarn the lord death's scythes daughter and the demon tool tsubaki with multiple forms" he says.

Blackstar runs in on the group (Blackstar)"And what have you heard of the great blackstar?" He inquiries
Grady thinks..."that you foolishly attacked lord deaths son and Stein the strongest miester this school has ever produced" he replies.
Blackstar begins to get upset but the bell rings.... (Grady)"late for registration" he says running inside while the others stood outside for a moment.
Soul looks at maka..."we're already late so what'd you see?" He asked
(Maka)"that's the weird thing I couldn't see his soul" she replied as they entered

Soul walks ahead of Maka..."What do you mean you couldn't see it, its what you do the thing that makes you special i guess your ability is useless" he says digging his pinky in his ear
Maka chops him in the middle of the head causing him to scream out. As she and tsubaki walked to class while Blackstar assisted Soul.

Meanwhile

Grady was in registration bored out of his mind as he heard professors talk telling them what to expect during their time and training at Shibusen while the students filled out the forms about themselves. Soon someone comes and picks up the clipboards with their student information. "THANK GOD THIS IS DONE" he says tossing the clipboard at the woman and rushes out the auditorium as other students leave behind him. Looking at the clipboard the administrator noticed that Grady didn't fill out whether he was a Meister or a Demon tool "HEY YOU FORGOT TO...." she began to say but looked up realizing she lost sight of the boy.

Grady was in the introductory class for both weapons and meisters.... since transfer students had a little catching up to do. Their temporary professor you could say was Hawthorne a woman with dark red rimmed glasses with a black pantsuit on but with a skirt not pants.
She looks at the transfers.....(Hawthorne)"Each of you are unique as you all know whether your a meister or a weapon your here because you possess a unique soul that can combat the dark souls in this world the kishin" she says as she paces back and forth.
Grady didn't want to hear the word kishin he was alone most of his life due to them but that is what made him decide to come to shibusen to destroy evil souls.
Hawthorne continued speaking. .."now this is just a temporary course so you all can learn the basics like how to resonate individually and together"

a student rose her hand...."Resonate individually...i thought we have to be paired up together to resonate?" the girl asked
(Hawthorne) "Yes ideally you have to resonate with your weapon and meister but each of us can calm our minds and resonates with ourselves in some cases some of you may be able to do more by self resonation" she says. "Now everyone come up here one by one at a time and i'll walk you through it... but this is what it looks like just resonating individually" she says as in seconds a great force is expelled from her even forces some items fly around .....such force is expelled from her that it even woke Grady up to the point that he was now paying attention.

see her soul...i...i... i didn't even think it was possible to do such a thing. If I can gain this level of power then
maybe i won't need a partner. I could destroy kishin souls by myself[/i][/Center]

Students went up one by one and all tried resonating individually none were too impressive some picked it up easily some had to try hard but from what Grady saw no one was able to exhibit the same or similar pressure of as professor Hawthorne. That was until a girl had stood before the class, and professor Hawthorne began to coach her. (Female)"I think i can do it professor, thankyou" she says in a kind voice. She closed her eyes and relaxed as Grady's eyes widened somewhat because it wasn't like Professor Hawthorne but it was noticeable her soul wavelength wasn't exceptionally large and forceful but sharp... Grady didn't know if anyone noticed but he could tell that professor hawthorne did as she was shocked at such an advanced talent.
(Hawthorne)"Young lady what is your name...?" she asked.
(Ruby)"Ruby Saitou" she says in a soft voice... Grady looked at her intrigued such a soft-spoken girl with such a sharp soul...but not sharp as a sword..or as solid....he couldn't figure out what here soul seemed like.

Grady looks at this ruby girl... now his soul perception wasn't the most advanced but he got minor glimpses like professor Hawthorne must have a powerful soul if he is able to notice it...this ruby girl also out of all the students so far she actually triggered this 6th sense of his.

Meanwhile. ...
Stein is speaking to lord death ....
(Stein)"so I have been back no more than 2 weeks and you allow some characters to attend shibusen" he says.
Lord death bounces around. .."Oh Stein stop being such a worry wart I'm sure they will prove to be great assets in the near future" he replied
(Stein)"Perhaps. ..what about Grendel and Beowulf are you really going to attempt to have them attend shibusen after what happened? " he asked
Death turned away for a moment as if he was contemplating the matter in deep thought but he turns around and has his hand behind his head..."THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I WILL DO" he replied in the silly voice he's known for.

After about half the students had went up and practiced to control their wavelength it was time for a brief recess while it was a large class for orientation not all the students got the wavelength control immediately.
Grady wasn't worried about himself honestly just to glide in the air with his skates required practice with his soul and that is something he's done since he can remember...

Grady put on his skates and skated through the halls he skated between Blackstar and Tsubaki..."HEY YOU JERK WATCH IT" he screamed at Grady and he turns skating backwards with an apologetic look in his eyes but half a smile until he is struck in the head and goes down.
He wasn't looking where he was skating...and looks back and it seems Maka had chopped him in the back of the head. (Maka)"no skating in the halls" she says

Grady rubs his head removing the skates "I'll remember that. ...owwww that's some chop....I guess its everyone's lunchtime huh?" He asked.
(Soul)"yea it is the cafeteria is the opposite way" he instructed.
"Yea I know I prefer to be outside. ...got my lunch in my bag" he says finally getting to his feet and walking outside.

Grady found a sturdy tree and sat in the shade eating his sandwich. ...
Grady was reflecting on his past remebering when he first learned to skate as his mother taught him...it was funny most kids rode bikes he had skates.

Lunch. Lunch had never really been Isabelline's favorite time of the day. She was never big on food, and was never seen eating much. She was more for snacking throughout the day, on smaller things. Mostly crackers or some sort of fruit. Or the occasional chocolate bar. And she wasn't big on people, either. She wasn't even sure why she was enrolled into the school. She couldn't remember. She didn't care to think about that at the moment, either. She was just set on getting out of the building while a rush of students made their way towards the cafeteria. Isabelline would never go to the cafeteria.

Instead, Isabelline steps outside, and takes in a deep breath before heavily exhaling. She closes her eyes for a second, and fixes her scarf. She then gazes down the staircase, and starts to make her way down the steps. After the third step, Isabelline takes a seat, and rummages through her bag. She pulls out a bag of crackers, and begins to nibble on them. Swallowing one down, she mutters under her breath, "I can already tell this will be an interesting time at this school."

Grady spent his time reflecting as he got up and decided to go back inside. ..before he lost track of time.
He sees Isabeline sitting down and stares for a second. He can feel a strong presence from her but that is not what generally has his attention.
All that stops as he notices none other than kid death walking with his partners patty and liz.

(Kid)"why can't you two be symmetrical as you are in weapon form...I mean you two are...." he began to say as he sees Isabeline and runs to her.

"My god you beautiful. .." he says with stars in his eyes as he pulled the other portion of her scarf down and it was perfectly lined up with the other....everything from her stockings to the pleats in her skirt was symmetrical.

"WHAT IS YOUR NAME MEISTER...ummm I mean who are you" he asks trying to keep some composure.

Isabelline clearly looks started for a moment as she takes a quick step away from Kid. She blinks once, and then twice, and then puts her scarf back to the way she had originally had it. She then clears her throat before glancing away for a moment. Returning her attention to Kid, she decides to give a response, though it isn't the most polite sounding, "Isabelline."

And that's all she says before stepping around him. She starts to make her way up the stairs and away from him, bag of crackers still in hand. She pulls one out and nibbles on it, almost angrily. Well, she was upset that someone had interrupted her quiet and peaceful lunch session. Lunch. There's that word again.

Grady smiled as he watched Isabeline.... she was quite interesting.
Lunch time was almost over... many of the students were returning.

Grady passed by kid and was walking in Isabeline's direction... until he heard kid talk into his watch.
(Death)"hey son there is a kishin soul developing not too far from shibusen" he says.
(Kid)"ok just get one of the instructors to handle it father" he replied
Death shook his hand..."no no no its a new kishin but tricky and low level I personally would like you to handle it" he says.
Kid sighs..."Liz and Patty lets go" he says as they take weapon form and kid summons beelzebub and rides off.

Now Grady had a decision to make go to class or see a miester in action.
He strapped on his skates and decided to go see what was going on....he was still on the ground and was about to fly but felt a sharp pain in his skull. He was all to familiar with this pain ....but it caused him to run into Isabeline and almost knock her down but he held her from falling.
"Sorry I got distracted. ... wait you have a strong soul one of the few...people are dying right now I can feel it" he says.
"And honestly I feel something is weird. ... do you want to come with me....I have weapon partner do you" he asked

Isabelline blinks up at Grady, one of her hands grasped within his as he keeps her from falling to the ground. She had caught the white violin and the matching bow in her other hand, as it had been knocked out of her bag when he bumped into her. She stands up straight and places the violin and bow back into the bag at her side, and zips it shut. She then looks at Grady as she straightens out her skirt and fixes her hair, and responds with, "Why would I follow a stranger?" and she arches a brow to emphasize her question.

It sounded interesting, though. Class would be starting soon. But that involved a lot of people. She bites on her low lip, and then finishes off the last two crackers in her bag. She swallows, sighs, and closes her eyes for a second. Placing a strand of hair behind her ear, and then fixing her scarf, Isabelline decides to add, "Lead the way." And then gives a quick shrug.

Grady was surprised not at the fact that she had two weapons that was kid deaths signature but the fact that her demon weapons stayed in weapon form.
"So you kept your weapons with you well it helps" he says

He was locked into the souls of the people who were being attacked and kids souls wavelength.

Grady grabs Isabelline and has her in his arms..."well im glad you have weapons now hold on" he says as he begins skating and concentrates..."Alright kuro karasu" he says as they fly up and he follows kids soul wavelength.

Meanwhile in death city

A evil human with sharp nails is going around death city... dragging them across a brick wall as they carve small gashes into the brick. The evil human see's a woman who walks by the alley and notices her. The woman looks on thinking the evil human is sick or hurt individual..."excuse me ms are you ok" she says
(Kishin soul)"No... i am...not please help me" the dark soul replies.
The woman being a caring individual puts her bag down and walks closer..."ok how can i help" She says as she walks a little closer and then the dark soul shows her face
"YOU CAN GIVE ME YOUR SOULLLL" she screams as she has a sadistic smile on her face as the woman screams in terror... as the dark soul goes to eviscerate her but a bullet hits the dark souls hand and she shrieks as Kid death arrives and saves the woman. (Kid) "Arrived just in time before you claimed another soul Freya C" he says.
Freya laughs.."Really the child shinigami is who came after me" she says and looks over to see the woman running away..."You ruined my dinner i guess you'll be my main course" she says as she charges at kid. Kid fires liz and patty but Freya C dodges the bullets as kid fires them and comes inches from clawing his face but he spin kicks her away. Freya stands and licks her ridiculously long nails tasting blood and kid see's that she did scratch his face drawing blood.


Grady arrives with Isabelline.... (Grady)"Kid we've come to help" he says...
Kid looks confused..."you've come to help ... sorry i don't need help... classic evil soul get back to the dwma one evil soul.. one meister to handle it" he says
Freya C laughes...."This is great ...i can eat all of you at the same time" she says.
Grady looks at kid..."Something is not right with this evil soul i sensed multiple deaths at the same time in different area's but this is the soul that was killing them and how is she suppose to kill the three of us" he says

Freya's soul resonates... the madness is strong....
"Damn ...whats it doing now" kid says.... as her soul grows larger and freya splits into three...(Freya)" Ahh i absorbed enough souls to let my sisters out...say hello to Freya A and Freya B" she says as the three smile.
Kid looks at the three...."NO you all die now...SOUL RESONANCE" he shouts as his soul grows large...with such power and the thompson twins change...
"Death cannon" he says aiming it at the three to wipe them out in one shot.... but two of the charge at kid surprising him as the cannon is charging.... the two jump over him and run off in different directions... the third kids kid in his chest disrupting his resonance....

Grady looks at Isabelline..."You get the one on the right i got the one on the left" he says as he skates after the one on the left
He says as he chases down Freya A and kid is busy with freya C.
Freya A was running and Grady was running after her.
"Kuro karasu" he calls out as he jumped in the air getting the skates on and moves extremely fast to where he attempted to slide kick freya A but she jumps as he is about to make contact and digs her nails into a building climbing it like a demonic spider.
Grady skates up the building and gets to the top where he doesn't see Freya A ... he keeps calm looking around.
He rolls forward slowly...soon freya jumps out the shadows trying to claw Gradys face but he moves his head and rolls out the way.
(Freya A)"good reflexes for a boy on skates" she says
"Yea and good job splitting us up" he says as they both get into fighting stance

Isabelline is in a lone streetway with Freya B as she stops and turns to her...
(Freya B)"Your friend is quite stupid girlie...and so are you" she says snickering

Isabelline looks at her..."you say that because of your sophomoric plan to split us up...your quite dense and he's not my friend" she says in a fighting stance.
Freya looks at her and Isabelline gets in a relaxed rigid stance standing straight up with the violin behind her back with her left hand and the bow pointing straight down in her right hand. Freya B seems confused but charged in claws out and in seconds Isabelline parried the attack which surprised Freya.
Again she struck isabelline but same result. ...she slashed and slashed and it was amazing how Isabelline with the bow blocked every strike without losing ground and moving her pivot foot.

Freya jumped up high and came down with both claws out but Isabelline was calm and didn't move....
(Freya b) "Don't look so smug girlie I'm going to eat your heart" she says as Isabelline blocks with the Bow keeping Freya mid air than sidesteps and grabs Freya's shirt and slams her into the ground. (Isabelline) "Come on you can do better than that. ...your pathetic compared to what I've heard about evil souls" she says
Freya yells in pain but gets up slowly blood trickling from her forehead ..."THATS IT BITCH" she says as Isabelline backed up as the madness in its soul grew making her stronger her aura was more powerful. ..."AHHHHH HAHAHA" she laughed as she gained speed in seconds was in front of Isabelline who at the right moment back flipped dodging the strike that unleasded a wave of madness energy destroying the ground.
Freya was laughing. .."Not so smug now" she says.

Isabelline....looks at her "your not worth it but I'll show you despair" she says holding the bow and violin in front of her..."SOUL RESONANCE!!" she shouted as her soul grew and the bow and violin began to orbit around her soul without her holding them.

Freya laughed...."That's it a floating violin n bow will show me despair. ..AHHAHAHA your madder then me" she says as in seconds she closed the gap between them and struck Isabelline but the violin blocked the strike...she moved around Isabelline making shadow doubles the normal eye couldn't follow but the violin blocked everything. ...
"My soul resonance makes me in tune with the music of your soul there is nothing you can do" she says as freya backs up
(Isabelline)"is it my turn" she says as she charged at freya and kicked her in the stomach and upon contact the bow immediately slashed her spilling blood....freya was in pain but dodged a punch coming at her face...the bow mimicked Isabellines movement and slashed at Freya grazing her cheek.
Isabelline caught her she planted her left foot on the ground and hit her with a straight kick to the jaw sending her flying back as the bow slashed straight up her body mimicking the kick.
Freya fell over bloodied....humiliated

"I WILL KILL YOU" freya says but she notices the bow and violin float together and begin playing haunting melody

"Quiet. ....quiet....QUIET...THAT STUPID MUSIC" SHE SHOUTS ...as her claws grow and she sends out a wave of madness in the form of her hand...."Bloody hand" she called out but the violin came in front of Isabelline and grew about 30 times its original size and her attack didn't even dent or crack it. The music kept playing though and it was like it made the violin a impenetrable wall.....freya was afraid..."Im..im...impossible.." she says as the violin opens up like a monster with teeth.....
"No...Stay back...STAAAAY BACK" she says trying to run but can't. ...
(Isabelline)"your in the hold of my nightmare sonnet...its no use" she says as the violin swallowed up Freya B...as isabelline moved her right hand and opened it and closed it....the bow then grew to a massive blade.. Freya tried to claw out the darkness but couldn't. .....
"Nightmare sonnet....end chord" she says moving her left hand forward as the giant blade ran through the violin killing freya.

Arietta and Nera take human form as they grip Isabelline.
(Arietta)"you didn't have to go that far....you know that move takes a lot out of...matching your wavelength to the opponents and us...its like using a chain resonance by yourself" she says.

(Isabelline)"it couldn't be helped" she says
(???)"Yes she did basically perform a chain resonance on her own...the feedback would normally immobilize a meister amazing" a figure says...Nera and Arietta
Nera gets in front of Isabelline....in a protective stance..."who's there" she asked and the person revealed themselves to be Stein...."I don't know if I'm more impressed that you pulled it off with will retaining consciousness or the fact that you realized that madness spikes higher then resonance. ..the more insane and crazy they go the more power an evil soul will gain so it was best she ended it quick...very perceptive I'd love to dissect you...I believe I'd learn so much" he says cranking that gear in his head.
Arietta got chills "he's freaking me out...." she says. ..
(Isabelline)"That's professor Stein. ..he's on our side guys Nera the soul is yours..." she says and Nera smiled a childish happy smile as she clapped her hands and bowed... (nera)"as you wish m'lady" she joked as as she ran and ate the soul. ..Arietta thought soul eaters were disgusting when they could just aborb the soul they'd rather ingest them so she made a face....death the kid showed up on beelzebub..(kid)"Stein I thought I felt you here" he says.... (stein)"yea orders but not for you congrates on killing freya....I felt the resonance of your death cannon" he says.....
Kid dropped to the floor "yes but liz and patty have an uneven amount of souls now..." he began to whine and cry but Stein ignored him and turned his attention to the others

Stein looked at the three..."come on lord death told me to bring you to him Isabelline and your partners" he says
Arietta wondered what lord death could want with them...."What about that Grady Boy?" She asked
(Stein)"Not my orders just you three if he gets himself killed oh well" he says walking off
Kid then got up...."wait then one more freya must still be alive....Lets go liz and patty" he says.
(Liz)"wow kid your going to help. ..that's very moral and ethical for you" she says with a smile
(Kid)"yes you and Patty will have an even amount of souls again..." he says as Liz hangs her head..."you just care about symmetry" she says as she reluctantly transforms.....and kid speeds off

Isabelline stands up straight flicks her hair and walks behind Stein and Arietta and Nera follow.
[Meanwhile]
Grady is still dealing with his Freya.....
He scratched the back of his head...."I'm the last one.. wow i sure got lots of training to do...." he says as he dodges a whiplike clawed hand from his Freya...."I guess I do need a partner" he says as his freya stretches her arm and grabs him by the neck....(freya)"A little distracted did your friends die already" she says

(Grady)"Actually your other halves...died...you couldn't tell" he says as he is being choked his voice raspy... but it distracted Freya from snapping his neck.
(Freya)"What did you say thats impossible....THERE'S NO WAY YOU COULD KNOW THAT" she says as she slams him into the ground still gripping his neck as she chokes a little harder. Grady smiles and laughs a choked laugh...."you can't feel it wow you did split up into three different entities....Kid Blew up the main one with his death cannon and Isabelline skewered the other one.... its something i can do... i can see their deaths how it happened upon meeting you its simple really just lock onto a wavelength and i can see when and how it will come to an end when death is close" he says ...

Freya was in shock as her madness grew and get sharper
Awww... man looks like its about that time... man didn't think i'd be the last one oh well, he thought as Freya claws on her right hand became iron sharp as she held him down with her left hand...the rage was intense as well as the madness.
Grady took a deep breath... and as Freya's claw came close a dark aura protected Grady which shocked Freya as she was unable to penetrate it.....

(Grady)"I can only do this for a short amount of time but you have my apologies ... i actually saw your death as well" he says as he charges up and the black aura explodes from his body pushing Freya back as Grady gets to his feet.

"KURO KARASU.....ITEM RESONANCE" he calls out at the skates come on his feet and his blue wavelength envelops his feet.....
Freya's whole body becomes iron.....(Freya)"It doesn't matter....you fool i won't die i don't care what you say...my whole body is iron tough" she shrieks.
"You don't know what item resonance does....yes i don't have a demon weapon but item resonance make anything i channel my wavelength as effective as one... for a brief moment..." he says as he stand up straight and in less than a second he was right above freya mid roll in a back flip.... as he landed behind her.....
He stands straight up..."My apologies a soul is a soul even if it is a evil one" he says as freya is spit in half right down the middle..... as her soul is only remaining.

Grady sits down for a second as kid arrives....(Kid)"Hmm... you actually beat her... and you left the soul behind" he says
Grady chuckles..."I'm not a weapon i have no use for it....go ahead you beat your evil soul so i know how you like things in two's..." he says
Kid almost cries..."THANKYOU...PATTY" he says as the soul goes to the clip of the gun and she absorbs it.
Grady is still relieved and is looking at Beelzebub and his skates..."Hey kid don't you find it weird that we have accessories that allow us to fly" he says
Kid looks back at Grady...."i don't know where you got those skates from but only a select few had items like ours....Grady Law i will keep an eye on you" he says kick flipping Beelzebub as grady sits back and watches kid fly off....
Grady stayed up and looked up at the sky before flying off back to shibusen also...

Grady didn't too much remember his past...
Well not that he wanted to erase his past. He made it back to the academy and went straight for the infirmiry to get checked out. The nurse was looking him over... (nurse-medusa in disguise)"wow very brave of you to go out on your own but recklessly stupid Grady...may I ask why you did it?" She asked
(Grady)"didn't intend on taking on an evil soul...just wanted to observe how its done" he says in a somewhat cold demeanor.
(Medusa)"yes but a meister without a weapon actually beat an evil soul...there may be more to you than meets the eye...thinking of what potential you have locked away in you" she says as she finishes patching him up.

Grady gets up and stretches. ..."Yea yea...i've heard it before ...I just got lucky...not like I killed a witch now wouldn't that be something" he says which caused medusa to give a giggle...."really that would be something maybe you'll accomplish that someday" she says smiling.
Grady smiled "lady you give me the creeps...later" he says walking out the office he didn't notice her smile become a scowl.

In deaths office he is bouncing around in front of Isabelline..."young lady that was very reckless what you did you and Grady could have been killed" he says pointing at her.

He paused for a moment. .."ok that's enough disciplining ...that was the greatest display of chain resonance I have seen from a meister the level of difficulty for a new student and you pulled it off with some flaws you still have not perfected the technique but you are far into the territory" he says.

(Stein)"yes lord death is telling the truth what you did only experienced meisters pull off without any harm to themselves. ...so congratulations your going to the advanced class Isabelline....where I will teach you and your partners" he says fixing his glasses the glare on the lenses shine brightly.

(Death)"yes so tomorrow on you report to Steins class. ..that is all" he says to her

That Night

Isabelline, Nera, and Arietta were sitting outside a ice cream shop that was about to close in death city. Nera looked at her meister...Nera:"don't keep thinking about his words IS... look it doesn't matter we are on our first official mission from lord death...." she says
Isabelline looks up at her just as her watch goes off and she looks at it and its lord death....DEATH: "HIIII Isabelline now don't be nervous ok.... you just have to collect the evil soul of a ripper who has been terrorizing the city im sure you can do it..." he says to her. (Isabelline)"I won't let you down lord death" she says...."but we've been waiting here over an hour when is this thing supposed to show up?" she asked
Death just bounced around....DEATH: "Ummmm right........now" he says as the communication cut off as the three here people screaming and running.

"LETS GO" Isabelline calls out as Nera and Arietta transform and run towards the destruction.... they see a tall grayish evil soul ready to eat a human soul it just destroyed... but Isabelline jumps up in the air...."GET AWAY YOU MONSTER" she screamed as she threw Arietta the bow almost impaling the beast that jumped up and landed on the top of a building dodging the strike.
Ripper: "No..no no you ruined my meal... i guess you'll have to be my main course (it puts its fingers up as if it is taking a picture of Isabelline) oh a pretty one you'll do nicely i only eat female souls hahahaha" it says laughing maniacally.


Isabelline grits her teeth her soul flares up ...the door that Maka saw before broke open as she powers up...she was ready for this battle

The evil soul looks at her puzzled.... "Really a meister who can mask their soul presence....hahaha cool trick"
It says as it jumps down moving at incredible speed and throws a punch claws out at Isabelline teeth out but she ducks under the strike and plants Nera on the ground using her as leverage kicking the monster in the face causing it to jerk backwards but it tries to slash Isabelline but she flipped out the way.
(Nera)"...oooww watch it IS your not as light as you seem to think. . she says to her.
(Arietta)"Nera its not the time for smart comments now focus..... she says to Nera

While the two were bickering Isabelline was blocking the rippers claws with Arietta.
The monster appears behind Isabelline ready to bite through her neck as if it was a Vampire....but isabelline stands still and the ripper stops as when it takes a step backwards that Isabelline had impaled it....
(Ripper)"Gaaahhh you bitch" ...it says
Isabelline turns to it twirling Arietta before coming upwards with a large slash from its chest to its face as blood poured out it was frozen. Nera and Arietta smiled believing that they won.
(Nera)"Whooohooo mission one done " she says.

Isabelline looks on but the ripper doesn't die...it pulls itself together releasing madness as it forcibly closed up its wounds which surprised Isabelline as the monster rebounded and punched her she blocked with Nera but the force sent her backwards...tumbling and when she caught her balance the ripper was in front of her and kneed her in the face as blood trickled from her forehead over her left eye.
(Ripper)"YOU THINK YOUR HOT SHIT DONT YA...HAHHHAAAAHA" it screams laughing with a dual voice. ..it charges at Isabelline but she gets in her straight stance and slashes at the ripper but it grabs arietta the bow holding it in its hand.....
(Arietta)"AHHHHH....its going to break me in half....its tripled in strength. ...gaaaaaahhhhh"....she screams
(Nera)"ARIETTA....DO SOMETHING ISABELLINE"
She screams in fear her sister will die...."SOUL RESONANCE!!!!!" Isabelline shouts out as her soul explodes powering up and strengthening her weapons....the bow increases in size to that of a large katana but it wasn't enough. ...Isabelline was trying to use her soul to over powe the kishin soul....
Nera was still afraid she abandoned her weapon form. ... which surprised isabelline (nera)"Isabelline....put your power into Ari its the only way you can't balance both of us..." she says.
Isabelline was afraid putting all her soul into ari alone was something she has never done but she grabs ari with two hands....
(Ripper)"give it up" it says placing two hands on the bow......
"Soul.....RESONANCE" she screams as the light from her soul engulfs the three...the kishin is forced back out the orb od light....."Ahhhhh" it snarls as its arm is cut off and when the light fades Isabelline is present with a claymore size Arietta and she has a mad expression as her hair blows and the dried blood is on her face and she charges in.

Isabelline charged at the evil soul with her claymore behind her and swung at the monster and it attempts to block with its one good arm but she cleaves through that as well. "GAAAAHHHH...(it screams at the impact sends it into a building)...hah ahhhaaaha you think you won even without hands I'll kill you" it says as Isabelline charges again swinging wildly she was not use to a claymore as Ariettas natural state was like a short sword so her movement wasn't as fluid as it normally was but she wanted to cleave the monster in half as soon as possible.
(Arietta)"is be careful you poured a lot of your soul into me alone we never resonated like this before be careful lets not over do it" she says
(Isabelline)"I know I'm beginning to feel the strain as well we have to kill this monster immediately it almost killed you Ari and I'll make sure I send it to hell"
At that moment Arietta knew that's why Isabelline was so angry and wanted this thing dead at all costs...she swung after it destroying poles and cleaving through concrete but the kishin soul was dodging....every strike....it leapt in the air and she leapt after it with Arietta on her shoulder she came down with a heavy swing but the evil soul dodged it by kicking the side of the blade which deflected the strike as it spun and kicked Isabelline in the face sending her into the ground.
Isabelline slammed into the ground shoulder first clearly hurt but she stood up... she didn't want to give up this thing almost killed her closest friend that night it was Arietta who saved her life.

"AHHHAAAHHA.....FINALLY OUT OF STEAM TIME TO END THIS" it laughed as its madness skyrocketed its power increased Isabellines eyes widened as the monster gathered power and fired a red energy wave from its mouth....Isabelline couldn't dodge...not with the claymore..... "SOUL....RESONANCE" she screams raising Arietta pouring more of her soul into Arietta as blue energy envelopes the claymore....it was Witch-hunter which collided with the kishin souls attack as isabelline braces herself her hair flying back due to the intensity of the attacks until they canceled each other out....the kishin soul looks surprised as Isabelline is standing. .but her eyes are wide open....she can't move the strain reached its limit...

.....I failed ....I can't move its over ..help me Grady...

Those were her last thoughts as the kishin soul powers up again.... to fire another attack and it does as the red light of the oncoming attack approaches Nera gets in front of it ready to sacrifice her life with tears in her eyes she looks back at Isabelline ....something intercepted the attack a shadowy figure cleaves through the red attack...with its own witch-Hunter clearly more powerful than Isabellines as in seconds it cuts off the kishin souls head.
Nera and isabelline can't make out the person.... "Grady...." isabelline says as she passed out and Nera runs to her

(????)"No not Grady the name is Grendel"...he says as the boy with the sword reveals his name. ...and his weapon took human form...of a boy with snow white hair

Atop a far off building stood Grady with May
"What the hell was that ....why did you want to help her and who is that guy?" May asked
(Grady)"I knew she'd be ok....I knew he'd come. ..the meister who slayed over 500 kishin...Grendel Bishop" he says
May began to wonder howd Grady know

Grady held onto Mayuri as he skated down the side of the building. Once they reached ground level he began walking ahead of Mayuri..."Hey May im sorry but i am really tired we're partners so you can come sleep over at my house i don't think i have the energy to fly you back to academy unless you want Grendel to take you back to the school but i'll have some clothes for you to sleep in." he says

...WHAT I NEVER SLEPT AT A BOYS HOUSE BEFORE....OH MAY WOMAN UP ITS JUST SLEEPING OVER AT HIS HOUSE BESIDES I HAVE SO MUCH QUESTIONS FOR HIM...how'd he know this was going to happen ...and whats his deal with that Grendel guy how does he know him. she thought as she remembered earlier
She was laying in bed but was awoken to a knock at her door... she got up in her night gown and opened the door seeing Grady she looked confused but was half asleep..."What Grady ....what are you doing here...how'd you find my room?" she asked.
"I have my way's... umm i understand that you must be tired... but you must get dressed there's something i have to show you ...please just trust me... i'll explain it to you on the way please just trust me its important" he said to her.
Mayuri didn't want to go anywhere but he seemed serious about having to show her something important.

Now she was here... they walk for sometime until Grady stops in front of a small home which surprised May as to why he had his own home but she remembered he said he was told he had this home ever since he got out the hospital. She waits for him to walk into the home and walks in after him... the odd thing was that it was cleaner then she thought and real nice. (May)"Wow your home is really nice... i wonder who pays it off for you pretty lucky" she says ...
Grady smiled also "Yea i do to... i am going to get you some clothes and you can sleep in my room tonight" he says.

Grady brings her clothes....and she goes into the room to change......Wow ...ok in his house now and im undressing in his room... i can't believe this.. she thinks....
She can't bring herself to go into the livingroom to talk to Grady just yet so she gets in bed and lays there for a moment
