Eric walked through the dark Hallway, a light at the end was his destination. "Is this how it should have been? a dark tunnel and a light at the end? isn't that what most humans saw at the end of their lives." he thought to himself. "why didn't I see one then?" Eric Carter Smith had been officially pronounced dead 3 months ago, cause of death unknown. "Such a normal name..." was the last thing he heard before he died. a normal name, for a normal boy. when he "woke up" a few hours after the Funeral, the man who had killed him was standing over him with a shovel. "Out, now. we have to go." the man said. Eric remembered how he got up slowly, out of his own grave, and immediately fell to the ground again. "that will be the poison, must still be in your system. I should have known you where a light weight." the man smiled at this joke as he picked Eric up. "alright, I won't be doing this too often." he said. "where are we going, Mister Hunter?" Eric had asked, unsure if he wanted to know the answer. "call me Finn, oh, and you'll be needing a new name as well, and while you took your little dirt nap I came up with a pretty cool one." Finn Hunter said "from now on, around humans anyway, your name is Blaise Hunter. and as for where we are going, well, we vampires call it the Festival of life. the one day of the year we either drink ourselves stupid to forget our past lives, or remember them fondly. either way, it's sure to be a fun first night as a newblood." Finn said, smiling as he zoom off through the dark streets.
Eric finally reached the light, it was coming from a small window in a door. he opened it to find hundreds of thousands of people in one large hall, all dressed in cloths from all different eras. Eric was, of course, dressed in his funeral cloths, which fit perfectly with the theme of dressing as you would the day you where blooded. Finn was in a corner, dressed in a long black trench coat, a frilled white shirt, and what appeared to be a pirates hat. Eric walked over to the table and began to eat with his new "master" or whatever he was supossed to call him. this was his first day as a vampire, and it would be one of the few Bearable moments for the rest of his eternity.
