Microsoft to release IE7 this month

As part of its patching process, Microsoft will be pushing IE7 out to people. I'm on the fence if this is good or bad. On the plus side, IE7 has better standards support.

the one good thing is that now people will believe that IE6 is as helplessly outdated as it is. - If IE7 is more or less standards compliant, there's one hassle less (kinda ) in the web designer's life...

If the security is as half as good as they say it is, then it'll be a decent browser for those who don't know any better.
