The Sopranos. Any fans in here?

Since I'm in Germany, we got the series on DVD, and it has become our entertainment for the weekends. Now, I started watching when it started back in 99 on HBO, and I liked it, but lost interest until recently that got the series. I am completly hooked! I am even dreaming of this characters! I'm so looking forward to get the 6th season on DVD! I think most of you here maybe are too young to be watching this series anyway, but if you have, what do you think? Besides the crude violence and all that crazy stuff, I think it is really an incredible piece of art made for Television. From the writing to the locations, the casting and the directing, and of course the acting! It is a great, full and complete series that tells so much about so many things! Ok, but I am a fan. Do you hate it? What do you think? I'd like to hear what you people think!

The series took a nose dive on the last season... they really need to kill nearly everyone in the series to make up considering it is the final season.

They just started running this on A&E here. I am loving this show. I want to go out and get the past seasons on DVD. Does anyone know what season they are in now? Thanks

It's hard to remember what happens between seasons with all the time off they have taken in the past. I like the show but, I'll have to buy the DVDs to get back into it. I watched the first two seasons religiously, but I kind of gave up after the long breaks

I've only seen clips of it, but I've heard lots of good things about it.

I do like the actress (Drea something?) who was killed off of the Sopranos then went to play Joey's sister on the Friends spin-off. She was also in Assault on Precinct 13.

Is this a good show? I've never watched it and I have no idea what it's about.

I like watching the Sopranos and I especially liked the first two seasons of the show.

I love the Sopranos... it's a great show. It sucks though that I have to wait to see the final season.... I moved and we don't have HBO now. But that show rocks!
