Video editing solution on Linux

I am looking for a solution on Video editing in Linux. What are the tools or a single tool which can be used in Linux?

Cinelerra. And dvgrab since Cinelerra's Firewire support seams to be broken.

Also, there is Kino, which is more limited and more idiot friendly - and you *could* purchase MainActor.

Thanks for your advise. I think I would have tried Cinelerra becuase I used Cinelerra earlier though it is quite a long time back. I will also look into dvgrab.

LiVES is a pretty simple audio and video editing program as is Kino. But they're small potatoes and old news (how many bad metaphors can I use here?) compared to Cinelerra.
