Hair Cuts

Yes, I am copying Anri.

I'm gonna get my hair cut sometime this month. Right now my hair is down to my tailbone with no layers and fringe that frames my face. My hair is dark brown and my face type is between oval and round.

These are the three I am considering...

I really like the first one but it might not work for me. I have very thick hair and it is naturally curly (although I do straighten it very frequently). Also, everyone is very fond of my long hair (including myself) and they might just cry if I did something this drastic with so little warning.

I really like the number two style. I do like the first one also but with curly hair if you didn't straigten it might now go the way you want it to.

#2 might be a nice miday. Break em in, you know? That way it might not be so 'drastic' if you'd still like to try #1.

I would pick 2 as well. But again with curly hair it isn't going to look the same unless you do straighten it.

I have an good flat iron and I do straighten my hair most of the time anyway.

Why force something that you aren't. I'm sure your hair looks fine with a bit of curls in it?

I have never used the iron to straigten my hair. So have you decided on one of them yet? I hate when I am trying to decide on a drastic haircut.

Are they ever hair cuts? They all look like the exact same cut to me, just styled a bit differently.

Actually they are a bit different. 1. Has more length cut off and has the bulk of the hair quite thin than 2 and 3. 2 is different from 3 because in 2 it has more face framing layers added.

I also liked # 1, but I don't think it will work well with curls. Of the three, I think # 2 will work the best with curly hair. Good luck. I shocked my friends when I shaved all my hair off. I hope you won't go as drastic as that. Peace.

Frique- what made you want to shave all of your hair completely off? I don't think I could ever do that.

Why don't you do a combination? Cut the front short and leave the back long. That way you have the best of both worlds. Nothing to get into your face and your back stays warm. :-)

So essentially, I totally disregarded all votes and went with what I wanted--#1.

It's really easy. All I have to do is my bangs (and not even always) and it looks real cute curly. I like it.

As long as you like it that is all that matters. Plus it is really hard for us to pick a hairstyle without knowing what the person looks like.
