Cookie Issues?

I performed a system restore on my computer and afterwards found myself unable to log into sites I usually frequented. I don't know what settings were changed or if some automatic update is interfering with them, but I am suddenly unable to log into DeviantArt, Project Playlist, and I have to click 'allow' to get into Gmail due to some 'certificate error'. I tried undoing the system restore but my computer did not revert...

I know I am not misstyping my passwords for these places because when I deliberately misstyped them it came up with a wrong password screen and I tried changing my privacy settings in internet options...

Anyone know how I can fix this?

What browser?

Internet Explorer v. 7.0... and I already did that and it didn't work.

Reset internet settings?
