Valerie Cainer opened her eyes slowly. The light poured in from her window, making Valerie wince. She lifted herself from her bed and sat at it's edge. She took a deep breath and waited for the maddness to begin.
" Vaaaaaalerieeeeee!" a voice cryed out, looming closer and closer to Valerie's bedroom door.
Valerie tilted her head to the side and waited for the cry to stop before answering a simple and bluntly put, "Yes?"
The door slide open with a creak, Jamie Cainer, Valerie's nine-year old brother threw himself in with a leap. Valerie jumped off the edge of her bed and nimbly caught her giggling brother.
"Yay! You caught me this time!"
Valerie muttered something about heavy and arrogant little brothers, and set Jamie on his feet.
( Thats it for now.- For I am tired- Please be an honest Critic.)
Sweeping her hair back with her hand, Valerie smies at James, "Go on, get out. I need to get ready, so go help mom with breakfeast."
Jamie nodds and does a very impressive salute as Valerie ushers him out her door.
Valerie shivers as she undresses, the open window welcoming the autumn air, she hurries to pull her Macbeth's School for the Gifted vest over her shirt. She grabs a sweater and headed down the stairs.
