I downloaded two episodes of Enterprise and that's all. I'll laugh if the MPAA comes knocking on my door. What I don't understand is TV Shows, they are publically shown and since I miss the shows when they air, I want to see them. I see no harm in that.

The problem is that when you download a TV show. you aren't forced to watch the commercials, which in the end, are what pay for the show in the first place. Advertisers aren't going to be willing to pay for airtime if they realize everyone is downloading the show and watching it commercial-free.

It boils down to dollar$ and lawyers, like most problems in this country.

I wouldn't touch a torrent with a 10 ft poll.

I stopped torrenting, because it is "addicting", so to speak.

i used to torrent all the time but stopped when my dad broke my wireless card for downloading so much

Any time you have to open an internet window to download something illegal, you're going about it all wrong.
