Limewire countersues RIAA

Awesomeness coming out of the courts today.

It seems that Limewire has filed suit that the RIAA is a monolopy and a cartel that stifles consumer rights.

Good, I hope they win. The RIAA is BS.

They are exactly like a cartel. I mean, how many times have they come to people and said "I'd really hate for you to go to court. If you pay us a little bit of money, maybe we make sure you don't go to court for downloading illegal MP3s we know you have huh? I'm just sayin' I wouldn't wanna see nothing bad happen to ya, would I vinny?" "No boss.".

I hope limewire wins this, lets just hope they didn't hire Jack Thompson.

Stick it to the RIAA!

Maybe if more of these types of suits happen, the RIAA will think twice about suing innocent people... or vanish.

Or both.

I cried when the RIAA started suing people.

Now I rejoice because they be going down.

They aren't going down fast enough.
