Today was my first day of summer...

It's been summer since last Tuesday (the8th) for me...and so far things have been pretty good, besides my best friend's friend died and my sister's bf broke his ankle. RIP Jason.

oh, sorry, how?

He was riding his motorcycle when he was hit by a drunk driver who swerved in his lane.
& my sister's bf broke his ankle skateboarding drunk.

You'd think this would be a sign for me to not drink, but it's not.

Anyways Jason's wake [closed casket of course] is today and the funeral is tomorrow...even though he's being cremated.
We all think it's too soon.

I hope Erik is doing alright.

A young person's death always seems more tragic to me, I guess because we expect they have so much time to live. I'm sorry for your/your friend's loss.
