Ohhh no, Haggard!
Most people put them up the day after Thanksgiving as a tradition...
I think its best to put them up earlier as not to have to deal with the elements as punishment for waiting longer...
Definitely do it now so you don't freeze your behind off when it starts snowing (I heard theres a chance for snow on Saturday evening...lol you're
just in time!)
Well.. that so happens to be todays plan. Christmas lights, then Islanders @ Rangers... LETS GO RANGERS!! I don't know why, but I have been looking foward to putting the lights up.
I think the older you get, the more we all are apt to liking those old traditions...
even if often times we ask ourselves why are we even bothering?
I think the feeling just grows the older you get. I think age equates to nostalgia in some way...a longing for things and events of the past.
Islanders at the Rangers? Thats like the Mets versus the Yankees.....that should be really good- I love those kind of classic "rivals" matches.....
Well- BE VERY CAREFUL & bundle up- its cold out there!
i dread hanging my lights up around the house, but im going to somhow manage to drag SpN into it nah its not to early as long as its past halloween hahaha. Though i am gonna enjoy climbing the tree's to hang lights this year.. i'll try and take a few pictures of my house decorated for the site.
I put up lights in my office at work. We have the sweetest decorations ever. We actually papered the main office's walls with Christmas wrapping paper. Some of the doors are papered too. It reminds me of the Holiday doors from the Nightmare before Christmas.
