When AMD gets off their asses and pulls out another step forward along the lines of the Athlon 64, I'll agree. As it stands, though? Intel is the way to go.

You can have 7GB of Ram. It would be a silly idea (a 4GB stick, a 2 GB stick and a GB stick), but it is possible.
You cannot have 7 TB of memory. Even big monster mainframes used by scientists have a theoretical maximum of 128GB.
You can have 7 TB of hard drive space, but that is not memory.
