The HC Series, comprised of the SC-HC58, SC-HC38 and SC-HC28, features a USB cable connect and a dock that works with iPhone5/iPod touch (5th generation), allowing users to play music from a variety of sources including iPod/iPhone/iPad, while the new NE (Network Era) Series includes the SC-NE1, SC-NE3 and SC-NE5 and features the ultimate in sound quality with full wireless connectivity.

Panasonic's new NE series has the latest in advanced networking features with enhanced high-quality sound for the ideal listening experience as well as a curved aero stream port to control the airflow and reduce the noise emitted from the ports, resulting in clearer, more robust sound. This new wireless speaker concept is designed with the consumer in mind, allowing for streaming music without the need to dock the device.
The NE5 includes a lightening pin connection to seamlessly work with the iPhone 5 /iPod touch (5th generation). It also includes a USB cable connect while the NE5 and NE3 can be synced through DLNA, AirPlay® and Bluetooth® for other Apple or Android devices. AirPlay® allows users to wirelessly stream music from an iPad, iPhone, iPod or MAC/PC directly into the device through a wireless LAN network.
The NE5, NE3 and NE1 all include a Nanosized Bamboo Cone Speaker, pure direct sound system, direct-vocal sound and 2-way Speaker System. Providing rich and strong sounds from treble to bass, the 2-way Speaker System treats listeners to clear, well-balanced sounds. The rigid lightweight Nanosized Bamboo Cone speaker with high acoustic velocity is used to achieve sounds with high sound pressure and clarity. Panasonic's IPTV feature debuted in 2008 featuring access to select
areas of YouTube. In 2012, VIERA Connect featured a completely new UI
and redesign with full access to the YouTube user experience previously
enjoyed only via the web giving users access to YouTube's full library
of user postings, music videos, movies, and 100 channels of original
programming. For 2013, YouTube Send to TV adds a new dimension of
connectivity to the mix. Users can download the new YouTube app to
their Smartphone and tablet devices that enables them to send a YouTube
video from their device to their Smart VIERA HDTV. The icon will
automatically appear in the YouTube app on your phone or tablet when it

To promote third-party developer participation, Panasonic introduced in 2011 the VIERA Connect Developer's portal where VIERA Connect(TM) SDK and API were provided to third-party developers who wished to submit apps for inclusion on the VIERA Connect Smart VIERA platform.

The 16.1-megapixel high resolution CCD and high performance image processing LSI powerfully supports shooting high quality photo and video.
The iA (Intelligent Auto) mode lets users leave everything to the camera to take beautiful images with its Optical Image Stabilizer, Face Detection, Intelligent Scene Selector and Intelligent Exposure. Once you enter the iA mode, these multi-capable functions occur automatically, so that you can shoot without adjusting settings should conditions change.
The LUMIX DMC-LZ30 is also capable of recording HD video in 720p. 1. Highly Versatile 25 mm Wide Angle Powerful 35x Optical Zoom Lens in a Compact Body
The DMC-LZ30 features 25 mm wide angle lens with a 35x optical zoom (35mm camera equivalent: 25-875 mm). Comprising of 14 elements in 10 groups including 3 ED (Extra-low Dispersion) lens and 1 dual-sided aspherical lens, this advanced lens unit realizes the outstandingly compact body. The Extra Optical Zoom function that extends zoom power to 78.8x (at 3-megapixel resolution) by using the center part of the 16.1-megapixel high resolution CCD to bring subjects even closer. Not only drawing near the subject distant away with its powerful optical zoom, the 25 mm ultra wide angle lens captures wider angle of view compared with a standard 35mm camera. It is helpful for shooting dynamic landscape or indoor group portrait. The blurring of an image due to hand shake occurs often when using a high zoom, however, the Optical Image Stabilizer minimizes it without causing deterioration of image quality. AT&T Call Management API
Announced on stage by AT&T Mobility Chief Marketing Officer David Christopher, the AT&T Call Management API signifies a step towards a world where customers' existing mobile numbers are no longer tied to a single device and is designed to make it easy for developers to add real-time, voice and text communications to web and mobile apps.
Currently in Alpha status, this API is powered by Voxeo Labs' Tropo Platform and Ericsson's IMS Innovation Platform, and is based on WebRTC, which will enable browsers to conduct real-time communications, such as voice calling or video chats.
Alpha API Program
AT&T's API platform is designed to give developers access to network and cloud resources to enhance their apps. To further this mission, AT&T announced a new Alpha API program to allow developers to offer ideas for new APIs. As a result, APIs will be able to be sponsored into Alpha from third parties to increase collaboration and innovation.
APIs already available on a "proof of concept" basis include:
-- Text to Text Translation API: Based on the AT&T Watson(TM) speech
recognition engine, this API will let apps translate spoken Spanish
words into English text and vice versa. This Alpha API, in combination
with others on the AT&T API Platform, will enable developers' apps to
auto-translate things like text messages and emails.
-- Customer Profile API: This API can be used to make it easier and faster
for customers to make purchases via mobile apps by securely
auto-populating a purchase form with a subscriber's address and personal
information after opting in.
AT&T API Platform Updates
Building on the success of its new API platform announced last year, AT&T announced a series of new API features and enhancements to the platform:
-- Pricing: Beginning today, for $99 per year, developers will
get one million API calls per month on the AT&T API Platform. Should a
developer exceed one million API calls in a month, they pay at the rate
