Two 1,440 KW Turn-Key Flex(SM) data halls are now available to lease, with three additional facilities currently in development that will bring the total capacity at the site to 7,200 KW.
Digital Chessington offers modern, purpose-built tier three data centre space in the London area, with strong communications links to the city centre via a range of diverse carrier options. The development benefits from high-capacity, robust power supplies from a dedicated 18MVA electricity sub-station based on-site.
The Digital Chessington facility reflects the latest advancements in efficient data centre design, enabling very effective power utilisation efficiency (PUE), while supporting a flexible approach to customers' data centre operations. The facilities' built-in air conditioning infrastructure can natively support both enclosed hot- or cold-aisle cooling that uses outside-air free-cooling for greater power efficiency, as well as an open architecture-based cooling approach.

At issue are several patents that are instrumental to social and business networking technology.

Zions Direct Corporate Bond Market Snapshot for Week Ending September 28, 2012
Auction customers received average yields 55 basis points higher than market
SALT LAKE CITY, Oct. 3, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Zions Direct, the online broker-dealer that allows its customers to purchase corporate bonds in its daily web-based auctions, announces its weekly auction results. Since 2006, Zions Direct has auctioned over $2 billion in more than 7,000 fixed-income auctions.
In auctions closed from September 24, 2012 to September 28, 2012, investors purchasing corporate bonds in the auctions received average taxable yields 0.55 percentage points, or 55 basis points, higher than comparable bonds reported in FINRA's Trade Reporting and Compliance Engine (TRACE).

65% of IT Pros are Satisfied or Extremely Satisfied With Windows Server 2012, New InformationWeek Reports Research Finds
28% will have the OS deployed on some servers by June 2013.

Windows 8 Survival Guide: Server 2012 encompasses analysis of results from InformationWeek's recent Windows 8 Survey<s> </s>and guides readers in determining a timeline for deployment of Microsoft's latest server OS. More than 850 business technology professionals responded to this poll.
Windows Server 2012 is being overshadowed by Windows 8; however, the server side of Microsoft's ambitious road map will likely make a far greater impact on most companies in 2013 vs. the client-side OS. The 452 respondents at organizations upgrading to Windows 8 have an average of 26% of their servers still running on Windows Server 2003 (22%) Windows Server 2000 (4%).
Findings:
-- 77% of our survey respondents have Microsoft Hyper-V in use now (34%) or
are open to adopting the hypervisor.
-- 22% now run Windows Server 2003; by 2014, that number will drop to just
5%.
-- 20% say single pane of glass management for all Windows Servers in the
domain will have a significant impact on their shops.
-- 3% say they'll wait for Service Pack 1 to deploy Server 2012.

New Mobile App Developed to Save Thousands of Lives in Earthquakes
SYDNEY, Oct. 3, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- A revolutionary new iPhone App called Earthquake Buddy has been developed to locate loved ones in the world's earthquake zones during the event of an earthquake.
According to CEO of the development company, The App Collective, Adam Wells, the creation of Earthquake Buddy was stimulated out of a need to better assist rescue services after an earthquake.
"We were astonished to learn that most rescue services are often flummoxed at where to start finding missing victims of large earthquakes," said Wells.
The app, once downloaded, prompts users to enter their own details and those of 4 friends or family members in order to become their 'Buddies'.
In the event of an earthquake registering above 5.5, the user's buddies will instantaneously receive an email displaying a Google map of the user's location.
The email is designed to be received prior to any Telco outage and is sent from the cloud so users do not have to rely on the iPhone itself. Buddies also have the option of receiving an SMS, a Facebook post and a Tweet with the same details.
The technology has been designed for those living in earthquake regions as well as tourists and business people intending to travel to Earthquake-prone destinations such as Japan, Asia and West Coast USA.
The company is introducing the technology through a number of prominent world organizations including the UN, The World Bank's disaster management arm and the World President's Organization.
"Our aim is to introduce the app online and at a ground level through world organizations who can implement their duty of care by ensuring all smartphone users carry this app," said Wells.
Professor Ed Blakely, known as the global 'Recovery Tsar' who led the Hurricane Katrina recovery, has also thrown his weight behind the life-saving technology.
