Frost & Sullivan: Mobile Solutions and Services Positively Impact the Small Business Sector
Frost & Sullivan white paper identifies how mobile and wireless solutions can help small businesses grow and succeed
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Feb. 23, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Small business success is essential to overall U.S. economic success. Financial accomplishment in the small business sector requires the ability to control expense, maximize productivity and revenues, as well as keep customers happy. Mobile technology can help accomplish every one of these objectives.
Frost & Sullivan recently published a white paper, Mobile Solutions for Today's Small Business: The Need for Affordable, Easy-to-Use Products and Support, which examines how mobile technology can help small business owners become more competitive, profitable and productive.
Although small businesses can have a major positive impact on the U.S. economy, they face a unique set of challenges when it comes to adopting new technology. These establishments must deal with a constrained level of funds, the absence of internal IT expertise, and the lack of solutions tailored to meet their individual communication needs.
Savvy mobile technology providers are building solution portfolios to accommodate smaller company needs. Selected mobile products and services such as smartphones, tablets, mobile applications, network connectivity solutions and more personalized service support, are positioned to help business success. Deploying the right mobile solutions can help reduce paperwork, decrease overall labor expenses, and increase end-customer satisfaction.
"Mobile technology should be viewed by smaller businesses as the solution, not as a struggle," said Frost & Sullivan Senior Industry Analyst Jeanine Sterling. "Properly implemented, mobile offerings are saving money, are increasing productivity and revenues, and are making customers happy."
This paper analyzes mobile solutions that provide real benefits for today's small businesses and discusses the critical steps and criteria in selecting the correct mobility partner when it comes to mobile enterprise applications. Frost & Sullivan identified Sprint as an excellent example of an end-to-end mobile solution provider for the small business sector. The carrier has recognized and vetted top-tier mobility partners and has assembled a "Biz360" portfolio of network connectivity options, devices, applications and support that are tailor-made to address small business needs.
"In addition to creating a compelling portfolio of solutions and services, Sprint is very conscious of how frugal today's small business must be," adds Sterling. "Their Biz 360 group offers hosted solutions that are billed on a per-user per-month basis and they work with their partners to offer hardware discounts and other deals to keep the products affordable."

Expanded Membership Level Gives Individuals the Opportunity to Join The Green Grid and Have Access to Member Benefits, Content and Best Practices
PORTLAND, Ore., Feb. 23, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- In response to strong demand from the business computing industry, The Green Grid is pleased to announce new membership opportunities for individuals to join and contribute to The Green Grid. As the global IT industry's leading voice for advancing resource efficiency in data centers and business computing ecosystems, The Green Grid now welcomes individuals to become members at a reduced rate and without requiring affiliation with an organization.
The individual membership level lowers the financial threshold for membership, which was previously reserved for companies, organizations and associations. Now, individuals can join The Green Grid for an annual fee of USD$400 and can access proprietary, members-only content, take advantage of members-only activities, influence The Green Grid's technical workgroups, and participate in regional workgroups. In addition, individual membership includes complimentary registration for The Green Grid's Annual Forum and Members Meeting, a USD$250 value.
"The Green Grid recognizes that there is a growing population of consultants, analysts and professionals who are as passionate about IT resource efficiency as we are, but do not always have the resources to become members on their own," said Jack Pouchet, Emerson representative and Board member, The Green Grid. "Not only will this new membership model give these interested individuals access to many of the benefits that come with membership, but it will allow The Green Grid to broaden its base of input and incorporate more perspective and expertise into our ongoing efforts to promote resource efficient IT."
Multiple individuals from the same company can join The Green Grid with individual memberships, but a company must join at the general or contributor level in order for it to be considered a member company, regardless of how many of its employees have individual memberships. Employees within a member company cannot join as individual members, since all employees of a member company are eligible for member benefits.
With all membership levels, participation in The Green Grid offers members the chance to collaborate with fellow industry stakeholders in the quest to improve IT resource efficiency. Contributing to The Green Grid, members help influence product developers and end-users of data center technology to use more efficient practices, increase sustainability and positively impact the bottom line.
Included in the Individual membership is complimentary registration to The Green Grid Forum 2012, The Green Grid's fifth annual forum and member's meeting. This year's event, titled "Moving to Resource Efficient IT: Achieving Greater Productivity and Environmental Sustainability," will be held March 6-7, 2012 at the DoubleTree Hotel in San Jose, Calif. Frost & Sullivan: Digital Certificates Cornerstone to Secure Data Transfer
Frost & Sullivan white paper examines certificate management challenges and Entrust, the No. 2 provider of SSL certificates
MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., Feb. 23, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- With the constant evolution of security threats, forward-thinking companies must closely scrutinize their security framework. Key components in an organization's security infrastructure are digital certificates, which not only provide identification assurances, but also support secure data transfer. The IT departments of organizations may be tasked with managing, discovering and monitoring hundreds or even thousands of certificates, a massive duty in the grand scheme of protecting business critical information.
Frost & Sullivan's white paper, Easing the Pains of Certificate Management: An Overview of Entrust, the No. 2 Provider of SSL Certificates in the Market, examines the need for digital certificates, as well as the responsibilities and challenges related to digital certificate management. The white paper pays particular attention to Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) certificates, which are cryptographic protocols providing security and identification support, among the many types of digital certificates present at an organization.
Maintaining trust between an organization providing content and the end-user relies, in part, on the proper management of digital certificates. Certificate management can be challenging due to the quantity of certificates in use, as well as the need to constantly control encryption levels on the certificates, ensure there are no rogue or expired certificates, and replace non-compliant certificates to conform to security policies or regulations within a security framework.
Additionally, there must be a high level of trust in the verification process by the Certification Authority (CA). In 2011 alone, there were several breaches of two CAs. This factor, along with the growing complexities of dangers organizations face on a daily basis, has pushed the industry to re-evaluate defense strategies.
"The need for proper and reliable IT security is of paramount importance to any enterprise involved in data transfer," said Frost & Sullivan Research Analyst Richard Martinez, Jr. "If implemented and maintained in a consistent and efficient manner, organizations can avoid the headache of an outage due to an expired certificate. An outage can result in the loss of traffic, costing an organization hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars."
To keep on top of this critical part of IT infrastructure, organizations need a certificate provider with a reputable brand, reliable track record and high-assurance certificates. Frost & Sullivan has identified Entrust, an internationally-trusted digital certificate provider, as a leader in customer service and comprehensive management and discovery platforms that oversee a wide range of certificates. This white paper evaluates Entrust security solutions, as well as the general landscape of the digital certificate environment.
"Entrust brings together value and trust, both of which are of the utmost importance to consumers leery of Web-based dangers," said Martinez. "With the second highest market share in the total CA and high-assurance certificate markets, Entrust provides all-inclusive solutions to streamline the challenges of digital certificate management."

VSS Monitoring Delivers Monitoring Industry's Best ROI
Network Intelligence Optimization Layer Provides Complete Visibility Across the Network Reducing CAPEX and OPEX, with Immediate Return on Investment
SAN MATEO, Calif., Feb. 23, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- VSS Monitoring, the world leader in Network Intelligence Optimization, today introduced a new calculator tool for its network operator customers to measure the ROI of their network deployments. VSS Monitoring also announced that its fixed and mobile operator customers are benefitting from the monitoring industry's highest return on investment at day-one, with Capital Expenditure (CAPEX) reductions of up to 80 percent and Operating Expenditure (OPEX) reductions of up to 50 percent.
With the explosive growth of network traffic, network intelligence tools face an increasing variety of constraints. To improve performance and security, these tools require operations personnel to monitor, analyze and examine network traffic in depth. Increasing subscriber interest and revenue dependence on new mobile services raise the priority to reduce spotty network performance. The increasing quantity and variety of analyzers needed to attach to network links to support this traffic growth often dramatically increases CAPEX and OPEX expenditures.
VSS Monitoring's system-based solutions proactively copy, forward and redirect network traffic to the appropriate analyzers in real-time. This layer of optimization allows network operators to attain higher service availability, lower labor costs for network analysis, lower analysis costs overall and achieve greater subscriber and revenue security.
Increased Tool ROI
-- The intelligence of the VSS Monitoring system filters and grooms traffic
to substantially improve the efficiency of connected tools. Many
application-specific tools perform better when they receive only certain
types of IP traffic from certain parts of the network.
-- Selective hardware-based filtering, high data burst buffers and
session-aware load balancing ensure that tools are not overwhelmed with
traffic and that no packets are lost due to oversubscription.
Reduced Tool Cost
-- A network intelligence optimization system between the tools and the
network infrastructure, instead of a 1:1 connection of tools to network
links, enables network operations to monitor several links or the entire
network with a single tool, reducing the CAPEX needed to completely
cover the network.
-- With the ability for a tool to receive only the traffic of interest, 1G
tools can work with 10G network links. No longer receiving all network
traffic, they receive only the required traffic at full line rates. The
tools therefore continue to perform effectively and accurately for a
higher speed link, deferring or eliminating the need to purchase costly
10G tools.
-- Often multiple tools are interested in subsets of the same traffic type.
Session awareness in the system allows traffic to multiple tools to be
load balanced, enabling each tool to analyze the entire session or
conversation accordingly. The session-aware load balancing of high-speed
traffic to lower speed tools (e.g. from 10G to 1G) provides better
quality data to the tools.
Lowest Cost of Ownership
-- Network intelligence optimization systems scale with evolving network
needs by adding more nodes. The overall solution cost of the network
intelligence optimization layer is substantially lower than a
non-systematic approach to deploying large numbers of tools.
-- Lower management overhead, shorter time to troubleshoot network
anomalies and repair lead to further reduction in operating costs,
faster ROI and the ability to meet service level agreements (SLAs).
Supporting Quotes:
-- Andy Huckridge, director of marketing, VSS Monitoring, said: "In a
highly competitive industry, carriers and operators are constantly
seeking ways to contain costs while responding to rapidly changing
business conditions, all while maintaining high visibility and
compliance in the network. Optimizing and securing the flow of network
analysis helps network operators fuel a sustainable competitive
advantage, guarantee future operating success, maximize return on new
tool investment and a greater return on existing investment."

NComputing Innovation Produces First 3-In-1 Thin Client for Workgroup Computing
Breakthrough multi-tenant System-on-Chip results in entirely new thin-client kit that delivers a rich PC experience to 3 users at 1/3rd the cost of PCs and other thin clients
REDWOOD CITY, California, February 23, 2012/PRNewswire/ --
NComputing, the world leader in end-to-end desktop virtualization solutions for small
to midsize enterprises (SME) and education, today announced the NComputing M300, an
entirely new virtual desktop device that redefines what is possible in a thin client. The
M300 delivers customers a 3-in-1 device that provides a rich PC experience to 3 users
simultaneously at 1/3rd the cost, using 1/3rd the power and 1/3rd the networking ports
compared to PCs and other thin clients. Customers can now deploy more computing per budget
dollar, spend less on power and facility upgrades, and manage with fewer IT resources.
Available immediately worldwide, the M300 is targeted at local workgroups from 3 to 45
users in environments like classrooms, labs, libraries, shared office workspaces, business
centers and call centers.
The M300 3-in-1 thin-client is a breakthrough driven by advancements in 3 separate
areas:
- In Silicon: The 2nd-generation Numo(TM)2 System-on-Chip (SoC) delivers the
performance and rich user experience like having 3 PCs on a single chip. Within a
single chip, the Numo 2 delivers three dedicated graphics, video, and user subsystems
across common infrastructure like memory, I/O, and power. This multi-tenant
architecture dramatically offloads processing from the server and minimizes the
infrastructure and power needed to deliver high performance computing.
- In Device Architecture: The M300 thin-client device leverages the Numo 2 SoC
to support 3 independent users across a single Ethernet port using a single power
plug. The M300 provides full HD-video and high-resolution graphics capabilities,
allowing a rich PC experience in most every work setting.
- In Software: The vSpace Server software supports up to 45 concurrent M300
desktop sessions on a single consumer-class host PC. With an extensive set of
management tools, IT managers can deploy and maintain a Microsoft Windows or
Linux-based environment in a fraction of the time compared to other solutions.
"We are the only vendor that can optimize the entire end-to-end VDI solution, allowing
us to deliver orders-of-magnitude improvements and immediate value to our customers
globally," said Raj Dhingra, CEO of NComputing. "The 3-in-1 M300 is more proof that
NComputing is changing the game around thin clients, around server capabilities, and
around price/performance across the industry. Unlike traditional VDI, NComputing customers
don't compromise; they deploy and gain the value promised by desktop virtualization
today."
The M300 was built to be a simple, incredibly powerful, and highly affordable
thin-client deployment option. Working in tandem with NComputing's vSpace Server 6.6
software, the M3003-in-1 thin client kit allows an organization to add virtual PC desktops
for a fraction of the cost of a PC. Customers can lower cost of acquisition and energy
costs by more than 75%, networking costs by 67% and support costs by up to 75% -- with no
compromise in the quality of the computing experience for users. For the M300, vSpace
Server software enables up to 45 concurrent users to be hosted on a single operating
system instance and on a single host computer. An entire deployment can be measured in
hours and managed by either IT professionals or those with only basic PC skills and time.
With these capabilities, the M300 3-in-1 thin-client kit multiplies the benefits of thin
client computing in a virtual desktop environment.
"Our environment is a combination of labs and offices and in each case we need to
deliver a high quality experience and high performance as though there was a PC on every
desk. With little to no configuration on the M300 device side, I was able to get all units
connected, logged in with the automatic login feature, and running streaming media videos
on each unit within 30 minutes," said Rick Marx, Information Services Manager at Travis
USD. "The M300 is optimized for close-in computing and our testing shows that it delivers.
It is already proving a great complement to the NComputing L300 Ethernet single-user
device."
Selected features of the M300 kit include:
- 3-in-1 client kit for desktop virtualization using a single LAN port and a
single power plug
- Second generation Numo(TM) 2 SoC (System-on-Chip) provides PC-quality HD video
streaming without excessive host-side processing
- Connection over Ethernet for flexibility and performance
- PC level performance for desktop applications
- Seamless HD video performance (up to 720p) and multimedia experience on
standard Windows or Linux environments, including YouTube and other web multimedia
content
- USB 2.0 port for peripheral support and two USB ports for mouse and keyboard
- Microphone and audio-out to support interactive communications and recording
- Energy-efficient
(typically 2 watts per user), compact, and reliable (no
fans or disks)
- Powerful vSpace(TM) Server 6.6 desktop virtualization software is included
- Up to 45 M300-based users per host massively lowers management and overall
computing costs
- Unique Windows User Accounts for 3 to 45 M300 client devices
- Easy to set up, maintain, manage and secure

Spread Betting: The Ideal Alternative for Short-Term Traders?
LONDON, February 23, 2012/PRNewswire/ --
With a wide range of spread betting [http://www.cityindex.co.uk/spread-betting ]
markets to cater for your various trading needs, you are sure to find one that focuses on
minimising your dealing costs and helping you maximise your trading potential.
Spread betting is most suited to four different types of traders; the day trader, and
the short, medium and long-term traders.
Here, Joshua Raymond, Chief Market Strategist at City Index explains: "There are
contracts that you can spread bet on if you have a long-term time horizon. But the
majority of traders use spread betting predominantly for short to medium-term trading as
spreads are much tighter for shorter-term contracts."
"The times that spread bets are typically open for, range from a minute by minute
basis to a quarterly basis," states Raymond. "Certainly very few are left open for longer
than six months."
The Day Spread Bet Trader trades multiple positions during the day which typically
last between minutes and hours, looking to profit from small moves in the market.
Generally, this form of trader trades on technical levels and financial market news
across markets such as Day Trade Bets and Daily Rolling Bets.
Short-Term Spread Bet Trader
The Short-Term Spread Bet Trader trades few positions through the week, typically
lasting from one day to a week.
Basing trades on technical levels and financial market news like the Day Spread Bet
Trader, they look to profit from market movements of 1-5% across Daily Rolling Bets and
Monthly Future Bets.
Medium-Term Spread Bet Trader
The Medium-Term Spread Bet Trader generally takes only a few positions throughout the
month, trading between 2 weeks to a month with the aim to profit from market moves of
between 5-10%.
The Long-Term Spread Bet Trader is very similar to its Medium-Term Spread Bet Trader
counterpart.
However, they take only a few positions throughout the quarter, typically trading
lasts between 1 and 2 quarters, looking to profit from moves in the market of 10% or more.
Like the Medium-Term Spread Bet Trader, they base their trades on both technical
levels and fundamental analysis across Monthly Future Bets and Quarterly Future Bets.
Summary
Spread betting [http://www.cityindex.co.uk/spread-betting/start-spread-betting.aspx ]
can cater for a range of trading needs; from day traders to medium and long-term
investors, City Index offers a range of different markets to help traders minimise dealing
costs whilst maximising their trading potential.
Spread betting and CFD trading are leveraged products which can result in losses

CogniFit launches a new concentration application in its online brain fitness platform.
NEW YORK, Feb. 23, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- CogniFit, a leading developer of online brain training and cognitive programs announces the release of its new application, "Concentration", designed to assess and train higher-order attentional processes such as focused attention and vigilance.
The capacity to concentrate and focus is one of the most important abilities we possess. In a society overloaded with information, a growing number of individuals are complaining of their lack of ability to concentrate. Statistics show that more than 5 million children have also been diagnosed with ADD or ADHD in the U.S. alone. Thus, assessing and training concentration and focus is a key element for a healthy and more productive lifestyle.
Dr. Evelyn Shatil, Chief Scientist at CogniFit, explains: "Higher-order attentional processes such as the ability to willingly orient and focus our attention on a task, the ability to readily maintain a high degree of vigilance or the ability to willingly ignore potentially distracting elements in our surroundings are processes crucial to the initiation, perseverance and successful completion of a task. Yet, a very large number of adults, children and youth experience difficulties in the control and application of those concentration processes."
Research has shown that training those abilities brings valuable attentional benefits to the trainees, which may, in turn, be instrumental in improving behavior and performance at home, at school and at work. People with a concentration problem have a tendency to procrastinate at work and/or to leave tasks undone or unfinished at school. They may experience stress, anxiety and depression as a result of their inability to perform satisfactorily.
The CogniFit concentration application specifically trains the selective orientation of attention, focused attention, vigilance, updating of incoming in formation, visual attention and the operation speed of those processes. The application comes with three new training tasks and is priced at only $4.99.
CogniFit is today the only platform that leverage brain plasticity to combine a versatile and personalized brain training program for cognitive abilities with an application specifically designed for the training of concentration and memory.
Tommy Sagroun, Manager at CogniFit, explains: "The CogniFit concentration app brings unique and tangible benefits by helping individuals to remain more alert, focused and efficient in their daily life."

NETGEAR Announces the World's First Fully Integrated Quad-Play Small Cell Home Gateway for the Alcatel-Lucent Global Network
Powered by Broadcom's DSL, Wi-Fi and Small Cell Platforms and Integrated with Alcatel-Lucent Technology, the NETGEAR DEVG2000F Opens the Market for Fixed Mobile Convergence
SAN JOSE, Calif., Feb. 23, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- NETGEAR®, Inc.(NASDAQGM: NTGR), a global networking company that delivers innovative products to consumers, businesses and service providers, announced today that its DEVG2000F Small Cell Home Gateway is now available for network integration by service providers with an Alcatel-Lucent Mobile network infrastructure. The DEVG2000F is the result of a long-term collaboration with Broadcom Corporation and Alcatel-Lucent to lower costs, deliver higher performance and expand mobile coverage for service providers.
The DEVG2000F quad-play small cell home gateway offers significant benefits to service providers operating both mobile and fixed line networks. Operators can now expand 3G HSPA+ Mobile coverage beyond the reach of their existing footprint to fixed line customers at home, assure Quality of Service (QoS) to mobile devices, and seamlessly move traffic from macrocells to small cells, increasing spectrum utilization efficiency. Footprint expansion drives higher ARPU from added mobile voice, media access and innovative applications via the NETGEAR Smart Network Cloud Application Platform. Subscribers at home, in business offices and in public hot spots benefit from expanded network coverage and capacity, enjoying longer battery life and faster data services on their mobile devices. Mobile operators further benefit from reduced OPEX with the extension of network management into their customers' premises.
NETGEAR DEVG2000F Small Cell Home Gateway
The DEVG2000F is a fully integrated small cell home gateway that uses fixed broadband access to deliver 3G HSPA+ data rates of up to 21.6Mbps downstream / 5.76Mbps upstream to up to 8 mobile clients. It also integrates four Ethernet ports and N300 802.11n WiFi. Mobile broadband performance to handsets rivals that of fixed broadband access due to the small path loss offered by small cells to the mobile devices combined with use of fixed broadband to backhaul network traffic. The DEVG2000F also includes dual WAN for failover and back-up for network access. Voice is delivered to mobile devices via the integrated small cell and to wired handsets via VoIP, using service providers' IP Multimedia subsystems (IMS), enabling consumers to choose mobile or existing landline numbers while at home. With the NETGEAR Smart Network Cloud Application Platform infrastructure, mobile operators have an option to provide value-added services to their customers by developing apps for small cells, just as they do for mobile handsets and tablets.
"The NETGEAR DEVG2000F Small Cell Gateway, developed in partnership with Broadcom and Alcatel-Lucent, provides reliable, affordable and consistent 5-bar 3G coverage, data and voice services - all from a single box," said Michael Clegg, GM & SVP, Service Provider business unit at NETGEAR. "The DEVG2000F can be seamlessly integrated with mobile and fixed broadband network infrastructures used by many of our service provider customers, and is a key addition to our growing CPE product portfolio."
"Fueling innovation in small cell home gateway technology, Broadcom continues its partnership with NETGEAR and Alcatel-Lucent to develop the world's first fully integrated Small Cell Residential Gateway product enabled for the Alcatel-Lucent global network," said Greg Fischer, vice president and general manager for carrier access products at Broadcom. "Driving the market to realize the benefits of fixed mobile convergence, we look forward to further design innovation with market-leading companies, NETGEAR and Alcatel-Lucent."
The Alcatel-Lucent Small Cell end to end solution, selected by 31 mobile operators for commercial service, offers an end-to-end carrier-grade, fully integrated, Self- Organizing small cell Network supporting the NETGEAR DEVG2000F 3G Small Cell Home gateway, Small Cell Gateway and network management architecture.
"Alcatel-Lucent applauds the vision and leadership shown by NETGEAR in its approach to small cell network integration, and we look forward to working with mutual service provider partners to provide the highest possible mobile and fixed line service performance levels to our customers," said Yannick Dupuch, General Manager Small Cells, Alcatel-Lucent. "The application-ready NETGEAR DEVG2000F Small Cell Home Gateway, along with our Small Cell IMS infrastructure, will empower Mobile Network operators to create revolutionary value-added services."

Expands Mobile Marketing Portfolio with Canvas SmartOffer
MONROE, Conn., Feb. 23, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Telenity (http://www.telenity.com), a leading provider of location based services, social media, mobile marketing, service delivery, and messaging platforms and solutions, today announced the launch of Canvas(®) SmartOffer(TM), a location-based subscriber acquisition solution for mobile data and data-driven services.
Canvas SmartOffer builds on Telenity's mobile marketing solution Canvas SmartAds(TM) and brings a new perspective to promotion of operator services and subscriber acquisition. Different from commonly used mobile marketing methods that are focused on product introduction, Canvas SmartOffer enables the end users to experience the service before making a purchase decision. It is a location-based offer-try-subscribe system that starts with location profiling of a targeted subscriber base, followed by an invitation for promotional service trial and subsequently a call to action for service subscription.
Canvas SmartOffer provides operators with the ability to offer a trial opportunity of the promoted service (e.g. 3G data plan subscriptions or upgrades, video calling and other value added applications based on video streaming) to targeted subscribers at a time when they are more likely to make a purchasing decision and at a place where the extended offer is more likely to result in a positive first experience. The segmentation of the target subscribers is partly based on location profiling. The determination of a favorable place for the offer is based on the quality of mobile data coverage and the time of the offer is determined by location-based behavioral analysis.
"In many emerging markets, limited 3G network availability has hampered 3G service adoption and delayed the creation of desired impact among subscribers," said Osman Perksoy, VP Product Management and Marketing at Telenity. "In the next couple of years, we expect operators to place strong focus on subscriber acquisition with innovative targeting tools and attractive pricing models. Telenity's Canvas SmartOffer will not only help mobile operators reduce their marketing costs by creating awareness with the right set of customers, but it will also enable them to increase their acquisition rates by offering the best service experience possible at the right time, followed with a call to action to subscribe."
Canvas SmartOffer builds on Telenity's industry-proven experience and leadership in delivering location enabling platforms and location-based services. It takes advantage of Canvas Location Middleware's powerful location profiling engine for GMLC or Cell ID based tracking of subscribers and density map generation. The delivery of the service trial and subscription offers is an impression event measured, reported and priced on CPM based methods.
Visit Telenity at Mobile World Congress 2012 in Barcelona, during February 27-March 1, at stand B51 in Hall1. The online company press kit can be accessed at http://www.virtualpressoffice.com/kit/g1f5.

TOKYO, Feb. 23, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- NTT Communications Corporation (NTT Com) announced on February 23 that from this month it will start operating the NTT Communications Customer Portal for unified, comprehensive worldwide administration of the company's easily deployed, highly scalable, cloud-based enterprise network, called Arcstar Universal One(TM). Also beginning this month, NTT Com will upgrade its Light Grade plan suited especially to smaller offices and organizations that wish to use Arcstar Universal One(TM) network services to help expand their operations worldwide.
NTT Communications Customer Portal is a free online portal that customers will access worldwide to handle Arcstar Universal One(TM) network administration, including application, maintenance and general information. Previously these matters had to be handled separately, but the new portal will enable convenient one-stop global access.
The portal will facilitate unified control of all basic service parameters, such as circuit numbers, installation locations, installation dates and even start-to-finish management of system failures should they occur. It also can be linked to traffic reports for simplified single sign-ons. Both English and Japanese interfaces are available and the time display can be set locally. Looking ahead, NTT Com expects to introduce additional conveniences, such as online reservation for system failure support and online application.
The upgraded Light Grade plan announced on February 23 will provide small-scale global customers of Arcstar Universal One(TM) with inexpensive best-effort access in 159 countries via public Internet and DSL circuit. Service will be operated in collaboration with Virtela, a company with extensive experience providing managed networks, security and cloud services worldwide.
