Multi-gigabit WiGig technology gaining momentum; certification and technology development efforts to consolidate in Wi-Fi Alliance

The agreement builds on more than two years of collaboration between the organizations, in which WiGig Alliance developed the groundbreaking WiGig technology specifications including MAC-PHY and Protocol Adaptation Layers (PALs) and Wi-Fi Alliance initiated work to develop an interoperability certification for 60 GHz products.

Already adopted by some of the longest-hitting players on the worldwide tours, including newly-announced Callaway staff professional Gary Woodland, the new line of X Hot Woods are a result of Callaway R&D designing clubs for the best players in the world, and using optimized design progression and adjustability to make them accessible and high-performing for all players. This collection of hot, distance-promoting drivers and fairway woods will be available at golf shops nationwide starting on January 25, 2013.
Distance gains of 13 yards* with the new X Hot Driver have been achieved with a host of design and engineering advancements that make the new drivers fast, hot and more lightweight than their predecessors. Callaway employed its powerfully fast Speed Frame(TM) Face Technology that increases ball speed, saves weight and optimizes stiffness and stress distribution across the face for more efficient energy transfer. The new face technology promotes more - and more consistent -- distance, even on off-center impact. In addition, moms are being asked to change their Facebook profile picture to the One Million Moms for Gun Control logo; invite 26 friends to join One Million Moms for Gun Control's Facebook page in honor of the 26 Sandy Hook victims; and to Tweet using the hashtags #momsdemadaction, #momsforguncontrol and #1MM4GC.
One Million Moms for Gun Control is also enabling its members to demand stricter and new gun control legislation by emailing, Tweeting and mailing a petition to the White House, the National Rifle Association and their specific members of Congress through an advocacy campaign tool created by BlastRoots: http://www.blastroots.com/campaign/1-million-moms-for-gun-control.
One Million Moms for Gun Control is not against guns, but against the proliferation of military-type weapons that have been allowed into society with too little oversight.

Operating at only 23uA, this battery fuel gauge uses 4x less power than competitive devices and even less in micropower hibernate mode, in which the fuel gauge continues to operate. It needs only one external capacitor, not the multiple external devices of competitive devices, so it simplifies design, shrinks solution size by 3x, and reduces costs. This fuel gauge is ideal for portable battery-powered applications where size, cost, and power are critical, such as smartphones, wireless handsets, and mobile accessories, including Bluetooth® headsets, portable speakers, fitness devices, and Wi-Fi® routers.

At next week's International CES® in Las Vegas, LG will demonstrate how its HOM-BOT Square offers a significant upgrade in cleaning performance, thanks primarily to LG's newly designed Corner Master technology. This advanced feature set includes improved sensors and longer brushes, enabling it to tackle hard-to-reach places.
Ultrasonic and infrared sensors detect obstacles, while the vacuum's Dual Eye 2.0(TM) cameras scan and map rooms, even when the lights are turned off. The Turbo Mode settings let users manually adjust the cleaner to best match the characteristics of their flooring while Smart Turbo Mode automatically changes its own settings based on the type of flooring.

While robotic vacuum cleaners typically have only one camera, LG's advanced HOM-BOT Square uses two improved Dual Eye 2.0 cameras to plot out a smarter, faster and more efficient cleaning route. Taking several images per second, the upper and lower cameras scan ceilings, walls and floors, even under dim lighting conditions. This information is then analyzed to generate smarter mapping. At the same time, multiple sensors detect obstacles within a 180-degree field, taking hundreds of surface images to help provide collision-free operation.
The HOM-BOT Square also features a Learning Function, which enables it to recognize areas it has previously cleaned, minimizing unnecessary repetition, as well as allowing the vacuum to remember the positioning of objects from one cleaning to the next.
In addition to new Corner Master technology, LG's HOM-BOT Square cleans effectively with corner Detecting Sensors and the vacuum's unique rectangular shape. LG Ushers in New Year as First Company to Launch Sales of OLED TV

ENGLEWOOD CLIFFS, N.J., Dec. 31, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Offering a host of new applications and easy access to content, the 2013 Smart TV line from LG Electronics (LG) will include an updated Magic Remote for a simplified, intuitive user experience (UX).
The wide variety of new models and sizes - including LG's awe-inspiring 84-inch Ultra HD and 55-inch OLED TVs - will be highlighted at next week's 2013 International CES®.

Easy to Use, Share and Enjoy
LG offers Smart Control with its enhanced Home Dashboard and Magic Remote. The new Home Dashboard interface features My Interest Cards - special folders for apps and other content -providing seamless access to what is trending on news sites. My Interest Cards can be customized according to the needs and preferences of the user.
The Magic Remote has been redesigned to fine-tune content and menu navigation, making interaction simple and intuitive. The device still incorporates the fundamental control capabilities of past versions - point, wheel, gesture and voice recognition. At CES, LG will demonstrate Voice Mate, an enhanced version of the company's voice control technology, capable of recognizing the natural flow of language. The Voice Mate feature offers a new voice search option that simultaneously filters search results across the LG Smart TV platform - Video-on-Demand (VoD) services, websites, external devices and more.
The enhanced SmartShare(TM) feature offers users the ability to mirror or transfer content from smart devices to LG Smart TVs with various connectivity options, including WiDi and Miracast. The 2013 line-up will enhance sharing between devices by implementing Near Field Communication (NFC), which offers wireless and seamless content mirroring from smartphones and other compatible external devices. This feature immediately connects two devices for quick media sharing. To use "Tag On" as LG calls it, users simply hold a smartphone or other NFC-enabled device against the NFC sticker on LG's CINEMA 3D Smart TV. The 2013 line-up also supports LG Cloud, which allows the user to stream high-quality content remotely.
Smarter Discovery in Sea of Content
Smart TV users have a steadily growing selection of content from which to choose. To allow users to easily find what they want within VoD and live broadcasts from multiple sources, the LG Smart TV offers an advanced recommendation function called On Now; this convenient service suggests trending VoD and broadcast content. Results pop-up with handy thumbnail images, making it faster and easier for viewers to select content.
With a vast array of movie, lifestyle, gaming and 3D viewing options, consumers looking for international or local content can quickly find what they want on their LG Smart TVs. Partnerships with a growing list of providers from around the world, including local broadcast stations and subscription programming services, allow LG to keep its content offerings relevant and fresh.
The Improved User Experience
LG Smart TVs deliver a smooth user experience and excellent picture quality because of a central processing unit (CPU) and graphic processing unit (GPU) that have been upgraded over those of prior generations. CPU speeds are now 120 percent faster in several premium CINEMA 3D Smart TV models. Even more impressive, GPU speeds are now 300 percent faster, which translates into clearer images that enhance gaming, viewing and multitasking capabilities.
LG's Smart TVs include CINEMA 3D technology, which employs Film Patterned Retarder (FPR) technology for superior 3D viewing comfort. This technology uses lightweight glasses to create a comfortable 3D viewing experience without the distracting flicker or crosstalk of active shutter-style glasses.
The new 2013 models embody LG's minimalist CINEMA SCREEN Design. The bezels have been significantly reduced to provide a greater sense of immersion and streamlined style. HONOLULU, Dec. 31, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Calling, downloading apps and surfing the web on the Verizon Wireless network is now easier and faster for residents and travelers on the Big Island thanks to cell sites introduced this year in Na'alehu, Glenwood, Keauhou, Kailua-Kona, Kealakekua, Captain Cook, areas in Waikoloa, Pepe'ekeo, Volcano, Waimea, Pahoa, Hilo, Honoka'a, Pa'auilo, Ninole, Miloli'i, Saddle Road and Hawi. The cell sites have improved either 4G LTE or 3G coverage and capacity in the following areas:
